10 Shows in Danger of Being Cancelled

I'm Also Surprised That CSI: NY is On there to. I Like All The CSI's 🙂

Wow half my shows are on here.
Life unexpected has always had trouble but I hope the following supports it. The good guys I stopped watching just lost track.
Parenthood I am shocked I did not know the rating were low for that at all.

I only gave Running wilde a shot for Keri russell (Felicity). I am shocked most about the CSI those seem to be the front runners when it comes to ratings.

Thanks for posting I was wondering where the heck my generation went lol.

Anyone who watches fringe is it good? I wanted to start watching it soon because of Joshua Jackson.

It still doesn't have fantastic ratings but it's been better. I don't want it to be cancelled but I don't know if I want another season. Also, I LOVE your user title! Stu <3
I haven't heard of most of these shows lol

I am sad about Life Unexpected and I haven't seen all of season one! I was actually surprised not to see OTH on there but its always on the bubble, I guess lol

I haven't seen any of Fringe but I love J.J. Abrams so would be sad for him if it got cancelled.

Until I read this I completely forgot about one tree hill. I guess it is doing good. :)

๋JJ created Fringe? I'm interested in this show all of sudden. ;)
I think Fringe will be okay. This season is fantastic, alternating universes and all, and I think anyone who's followed it this far is interested in the new developments. They'll all keep watching to see what happens to Olivia and Fauxlivia, at least.

I would be sad to see Parenthood go, because it's spectacularly funny. I wasn't interested at all based on the premise, but the humor warmed me up to it.

Community! Nooooo! They canceled My Name is Earl for Community. If they cancel Community with 1 1/2 to 2 seasons... NBC will fall below CBS in my book... which is hard to do.

I kinda like Undercovers. I really need to watch Fringe, I think I'd like it, but I'd have to watch last season first.

I don't understand how people aren't watching Community, it's one of the best comedies on TV! It's smart and funny, and if your into TV and Movies, you'll love it even more! Fantastic cast and genuinely good writing!

I'm pretty surprised that Chuck wasn't on that list. I thought Chuck was one of those shows permanently in danger of being cancelled. I mean if you were judging on the first couple of episodes of this season even I'd cancel it!

I like this season. I mean the pregancy thing is a bit annoying and stupid... but I like this season
I think they should cancel everything after 3 seasons. There are a handful of shows that have remained decent after this point and even then they usually have a "blip" season (I'm looking at you Buffy, West Wing, Shameless).

I adore Arrested Development I think it is head and shoulders the best comedy of all time ever but I am half glad it was cancelled. All though it remained excellent throughout it's run I thought S2 was better than S3. I would rather remember shows fondly than watch them die painfully like Scrubs.

One HUGE exception here. The Wire. From beginning to end pure excellence.

There's tons of shows that have more than 3 seasons and were all good...Friends, X-Files (okay they shoulve stopped after s7), All the Star Treks, HIMYM, The Nanny...those are just the ones I watched
Thankfully none of my favorite shows are on here because I'd be very mad. I've seen CSI NY, and I like it but I don't watch it alot so I'm not super into it.

Scrubs died painfully because season 7 was supposed to be the finale. Season 7 wasn't GREAT, but it was good. Season 8 they started reaching for ideas and season 9 wasn't a season of Scrubs.

That being said, I think 4 or 5 seasons is a good length. Ok shows should have 3 or 4. Good shows should have 4 or 5 and great shows should have 5-7. I'm not sure any show should really go beyond 7 seasons. And if they do, they've got to be EPIC shows. Like history making good and the writers have to have fresh ideas.... which lets face it, after 7 seasons is kinda hard.

It may sound odd what with me being a Buffy fan and all but I think it's the other way round. I think the better the show the shorter the run.

It's easier to maintain "Ok" over 7 seasons, know what I mean?

For instance! I don't think Fraiser or Friends were particularly brilliant but I will still watch them when they are on. They never reached to high and remained pretty good though out (although the earlier seasons were better obviously).

For me Scrubs became a parody of itself, it started to look like the mock "sit com" they did in one episode (with the comedy writer that dies?). I actually get annoyed watching that show now.

Yeah, it is easier to maintain "OK" over 7 season... but 7 seasons of "OK" can get really old and boring really fast. I have no opinion on Fraiser but I hate Friends. I watched it and the first couple seasons were ok but it got old and annoying really fast.

I agree that episode of Scrubs is kind of awful... but I don't think it became a parody of itself... I mean I can see that... but I kind of liked that a bit... season 6 made me chuckle which is when it started getting like that. Although I will say I HATE how they made JD's character so... ugh. I don't even want to talk about what they did to JD's character in the last few seasons of Scrubs.

I don't tend to watch things weekly, both Fraiser and Friends I have never followed just dipped in an out of. I can see how they can get tedious if you actually followed them weekly or whatever.

I loved the Sit Com Scubs episode. What I meant is they were mocking that type of show but then they eventually turned into it over time. Sorry I don't think I explained that very well!

Oh, I hated that episode... well hated as much as I could hate an episode of Scrubs. Scrubs is my second favorite show of all time so when I say "hate" I mean I thought it was Ok.
