So I was just wonderin which 100th episode you have liked most? Buffys 100th episode or Angels 100th episode, both are very different except with one thing in commonl the star female dies...so which one do you like better?
 
Thats really hard to choose. I picked Buffy's 100th. I love both episodes.
 
Buffy's 100%. I personally think that it had so much more impact. There's really no question about it. Not because "Your Welcome" wasn't written as well, but "The Gift" was the 100th episode, and the season finale, and, for a while there, quite possibly the Series finale. It just makes sence that it had more of an impact.

To be fair to Angel, it wasn't the season finale, so they couldn't do anything quite as big, and there's not that extra level of it possibly being the final ep ever, so they didn't have to cover everything.
 
The Gift. It's one of the best Buffy episodes ever. But You're Welcome is pretty good.
 
The Gift was better. A lot more drama, and the inevitable sacrifice of Buffy at the end and the emotions that the characters expressed seeing her body.

Your Welcome had drama with Cordy coming back and a happy kiss moment, but we didn't get to see the reactions of everybody when it was found out that Cordy died.

Definetly the Gift.
 
I'm the only person who voted for Your Welcome! I found it more heartbreaking when Cordy died than when Buffy died for two simple reasons. I knew Buffy was coming back. I knew Cordy wasn't.
 
It was such a hard choice, I couldn't choose, Your Welcome was amazing, but The Gift was well...The Gift! But then I read what spike's bitca said, and totally agreed, so Angel's 100th for me...
 
I can't vote! I loved both so much. For me any episode that I can't stop crying after, is a great one!lol

Jeez-it's impossible to choose. Both of these were my favorite episodes of both shows...I have NO idea which one could be considered better...
 
It is indeed a tough decision but for me it was Angels episode.... I would normally choose buffy over angel but "You're Welcome" always leaves me with a lump in my throat at the end, I can even feel tears welling up!!! Every time!!!!
 
Both were extremely good. I really enjoy the show Angel but it will always be Buffy for me...I voted for The Gift.
 
"You're Welcome"

One, that is one of the best episodes I have ever seen on TV. Wonderful from start to finish.

Two, I watched it the night it aired. Unlike "The Gift" which I watched after it aired, so I already knew about it and that Buffy was going to sacrifice herself.
 
Oh, the Gift, totally. That was just.... amazing. I can't even express it, but so many characters had all these things happening... and there was Giles, with the killing Ben thing, and I totally didn't see the Buffy thing coming (or maybe I just didn't want to).

You're Welcome was good, very, very good. But it just didn't resonate with me as much as the Gift did. And I knew Cordy was going to end up dead. Not from spoileries, I just could see it coming. And I never liked "New Cordy", I didn't necessarily want her back.

And I love how even though it was the hundreth, they didn't make a big huge deal out of the gift. I don't even remember if I knew it was the hundreth until after. There was no returning cast members or anything, just a normal season finale, except for the fact that it was one of the best eps ever and wonderfully done from start to finish.
