Thats a list and a half to be added to, isn't it?
To ALL you naysayers that seem worried about the casting, I want to say something.
Billie Piper, David Tennant and Catherine Tate.

I remember when everyone was like 'Eugh, Billie Piper, she's gonna be the lead in Who - that can't be good'

How wrong were you?

Or 'Christopher Eccleston was really great, I don't know how this guy, David Tennant, will be able to do as good as him'.

How wrong were you, again?

Finally 'A whole season with Catherine Tate, I'm gonna chew my arm off just so I have something to throw at her!'

You see where I am going.

Casting has always been the one thing that Doctor Who has got spot on, even if at first we've thought it a little wrong, so I have no issue with Matt Smith.

Also, Moffat is arguably a more purist in the Doctor Who sense than Russell, he's truly a fan of the show so will do nothing to ruin it, if he can help it, AND lets not forget Moffat was apparently sure within minutes of seeing this guy that he was the New Doctor.
With ALL the potential out there, Moffat seemed adamant from the start this was his new Doctor.

I have 100% faith in Moffat and Smith(plus, he is kinda cute).

As for the age thing, well he'll be 27 by the time of filming coming up to 28 by the time the show airs WHICH puts him just over a year younger than when Peter Davison was The Doctor.

100% agree about the casting...they haven't put a foot wrong yet...despite the fanboy naysayers :)
