#13 Cover & Plot Speculations!

I think that's Buffy and Willow in the background. The plot sounds interesting. are those the same uber vamps The First had as his army?
 
The synopsis on the page does say the "uber vamps" so yeah it looks like several Turok Han are on the loose, thats not good. I love Buffy's traveling cloak, a new look for her.

*enlarges image* oh wait thats Willow, cool. That would be Buffy dangling her legs over the ledge then.

hmm, the old ally? what's the name if this arc again? oh, 'Wolves At The Gate'. anyone remember a cetain red-haired werewolf that once had a soft spot for Willow? 😉

I kinda got the impression that Oz was going to be in the new "Angel" series, but I've been wrong before.

I hope it's Oz, that would be cool. The arts pretty impressive, I don't think the Uber vamps are THE uber vamps, I think they just mean Super vampires, cuz it says new Foes?

Mentioning "redhead" and "Willow" in the same post, made me think of all female characters *head desk* plus he's not really that red.

Oz has been slated to return in this season, and since hes out East practicing not being all Wolfy then this would be a good time for him to turn up.

The issue Oz returns will be the greatest issue ever put out, until the issue comes out when him and Willow get back together, here to dreaming 🙂 : king : Oz is just, Perfect! to me anyways
 
lol, Xander and Dracula had a thing.

Could be a good time for Oz. Dunno, maybe he was over there learning how to control his power from some sensei, and the gang enlists him to help with wolf stuff 'cause he knows about that. Or he is forced to go wolfy in order to get in with a bunch of wolf people so he can find out more about what they're doing to report back to Buffy. Or this issue doesn't have Oz.

also, if they are in japan, shouldnt the side car that xander is in be on the other side of the motorcycle? japanese drive on the left side of the road.

Wow! Jon Foster did a really good job this time! Not near as brain shuddering as the first issue of the arc! I love the alternate, as well. It's creative and well...Dracula will return. I always thought he was an awesome character.

Except why would he be the "old ally?"
 
well, he could be concidered Xander's alley, since Xander was under his thrall. makes sense that he'd be the one to track him down.
 
Wouldn't it be funny if Dracula was the comic version of Spike and Angel? The vampire who reluctantly fights the good fight along with the scoobies and goes in search of his soul? LOL
 
aaah maybe thats the reference of the vamps with new, but familiar powers (the summary for the first issue of the arc)... maybe much like that of Dracula and that is why the need his help!
