13 Years

I think I've been here since around 08 or so. It was one of my first forums I signed up for on my very first laptop 😱. The other, a horse one, which was the bitchiest yet potentially informative place has now gone down the drain. Admin was behind the times and didnt continue to update the boards and features which this site continues to do to move with the times.

I miss the old days and the people I used to have laughs with. I've met a couple of now very close mates from here. Others I havent met continue to be in my life and I am so thankful for that. I enjoy seeing how they are going on facebook, how their lives have changed as we've all grown older. I love having friends from all over the world and I have this place to thank for that.

Missing the old days is not to say I dont enjoy the boards now. I dont post that often these days but do check out the threads. I love seeing new questions that havent been done to death, and hearing about peoples con experiences. This is a safe well moderated forum and its fun to geek out on it.

Thanks Buffy Boards and staff past and present, here's to another 13 years!
 
It's about 2-3 years since I posted here regularly but it was important to me for several years and I still see tweets from people I met here.

Just wanted to say how much BB keeps me sane! I love reading threads on here and different perspectives on the shows and offtopic areas (most of the time lol). I've seen many members come and go here but I've also made many good friends and have met a few in person as well (that are still friends!! lol). I've enjoyed competitions here from cake making to icon art, win or lose, it's been so much fun (and I have mugs to prove it lol). Everything I've learnt in photoshop I have learnt from members of BB! I've had the pleasure of working with a team here as well as now being a long standing member. I've seen fun times, stressful times and down right hilarious times on BB. And I am still so thankful for it's existence. So thank-you to Buffy Summers, and all team members past and present and all members over the years up to the current day. 🙂
