I did like the idea of using DW's 'rank, arrogant amateur' line on my boss. But only as long as I also had the ability to throw fireballs backing me up...
 
I find that 'want, take, have' doesn't really go down well in the workplace.... 😉

Although I have paraphrased Xander with: 'I eat deadlines for breakfast, but oddly muffins can really stress me the hell out.' 🙂
 
I like Anyas line about being patient but it was to slow. Cause that's me! I have no patience sometimes. Lol.

I'll add Buffys line to Snyder, calling a stupid, evil, little troll. That could be applied to your boss being their back, or just someone you hate. But only if you're taller than them. Lol

I can definitely identify workplace dialogue with Spike (Undo it! Undo it!) and Anya (Thank you for making time in your busy life to come in here and get in the way of mine.) 😀 Though of course, as a receptionist, I only think Anya's line.

I've felt like shouting '' What the bleeding hell is wrong with you bloody women? What the hell does it take? Why do you bitches torture me?'' a time or two.

I have actually used a lot of Buffy quotes at work, and everywhere else because they are just so....perfect. But honestly the one I use the most is "That will put marzipan in your pie plate bingo!" When there is just nothing you can say that won't get you slapped or fired, that one works wonders...it either totally stumps them, or they are Buffy fans and they break into laughter.
 
You know the prospect of using some of those in an Office context almost makes the idea of an office job bareably.

Like some of the melodramatic ones like Buffy's "It's hard, it's painful and it's everyday!"😉

Or Cordy's "I don't see how this effects me" would be cool to say to the bossman! or woman😉

Haha! I would totally say this to my boss if I could get away with it. I hate having to pretend like I actually care or I'm interested in something.

Sometimes at work, I just feel like singing Going Through the Motions. Cause that's basically me at work "going through the motions, walking through the part, nothing seems to penetrate my...heart".
