I think Ryan Reynolds could have pulled off Xander as well as Nick. He's a GREAT actor. But I'm glad Nick got the part because he has cute goofy face, which suits Xander. 😀 Ryan has this "oh-so-handsome" face. He can't make (sw) smile like Nick.

In that banner Xander reminds me of Shawn Hunter from Boy Meets World. Same smile.

In do think that Nick has an "Oh so handsome" face: "The Pack" and "The Wish" comes to mind when Xander is serious and less goofy.

The show had probably been very different but not knowing the version we're used to I must say that it looks pretty good to me. Love Nathan and even if I'm not sure we'd get the brooding Angel I'm confident he could make a good Angel. Like Ryan as well so I'm sure I could accept his Xander.

He can't make (sw) smile like Nick.

Which had made me so much happier. 😉

I don't really see Ryan as handsome. I only remember him as Berg in Two Guys and A Girl and he was goofier than Xander and didn't have Xander's dark side, which I love. Perhaps if I see him in more serious roles...

He's cute, but not handsome.
