19 years ago today....

...Welcome to the Hellmouth aired for the first time.

Luckily, there is still an active place to discuss Buffy in 2016, 19 years later 🙂

19 years later & people are still talking about . Makes you feel proud to be a small part of it 😀

Huh, I feel old and young at the same time. The show wasn't that old when I started watching it. But now I could legally date the show... and it wouldn't even be weird.

Not only does this make me feel old, lol, but it was pointed out to me a few minutes ago that the comics have technically been running longer than the show was on the air.

This makes me sad.

And you wanted to share the misery with everyone else. Thank you.

It will be sad one day somebody will be reading the Buffy comic and say "wow, I didnt know it was based off a TV show..." followed shortly by "man, the show really sucks"

Don't blame me... It was Lyrificus' fault. She planted the Seed of Wonder in my mind.

You got to love Sarah . She a class act :)
Love the promo videos! lol. I liked the intro of saying there were other women in history and when they showed up murders stopped. lol. I've never seen that intro. Can't believe it's been that long. Next year will be 20! SMG might start feeling old. But she still looks good!

Happy 19th Buffy! Next year for the 20th we all need to have a big arse bash!

Yes. We should definitely do something big to celebrate 20 years next year. Put your thinking caps on people!😀

How about ........ I going to give it a lot more thought .

Pretty incredible stuff. Whenever I show friends an ep of Buffy (because that's what's been missing from their lives) they comment on the bad graphics. I mean, c'mon it was 1997, what do they expect? Back in the day, the graphics were good!

But amazing that the fandom has continued so strongly, and that every year at different conventions people are lining up to meet the cast members of a show that's affected their lives (I remember lining up for an hour 45 to meet James. So worth it!)
