2 Strongest 4 Lettered Words

The question put to everyone is what's stronger between LOVE and HATE? 🙂

I'd say LOVE because often times when you say or do something out of hate it's only because of your LOVE for something else.

EX: Fighting for your country.

EX: A Time To Kill...He killed those two rapists out of love for his child.

Honestly and truthfully... i dont think either are stronger then the other... its like good and evil neither can really win... i'd love to say love is stronger but its really not.... so i say they balance each other there is no stronger or weaker... its equal

I would have to agree... although I would like to think Love conquers all...
 
As the generations wear on, true love seems more and more fleeting. All we have is a facsimile. One day, we won't even have that.

Unfortunate as it may be, the dark side is strong on this world. Too strong.

Yup, it's hard to see the good what with all the bad clouding the path of life...it's really sad that so many of us will lose any chance to really touch eachothers lives. But, that's a cross we bear every day with every decision we make. And still, I choose to side with love. It's gotten me out of more than I could admit. It's what I hold on to. Later.

I think both can be equally as strong. But really, it depends on the person. Some people can let themselves be so consumed by hatred that they let it completely take over their lives and destroy them, some people can love so much that they refuse to let themselves hate and do all kinds of stuff because of their love.

So I don't really have an answer.
 
Hate is stronger. I love hate! Yay!

Someone can love you, but still do something messed up to hurt you: like sleeping with your family members. Hate is all about fear of punishment, which people tend to have a lot more. People are less likely to f with you if they're afraid of what you might do to them.

They're used too often to have the same effect anymore. Especially by those little emo teenagers who think they have found the love of their life at the age of 13. I have a math class w/ 4 9th graders, and all they talk about is "i love so an so," and "i hate her" and "I just met him 10 minnutes ago but we're meant to be together blah blah blah"
 
Hate is just a tiny little thing.

People exaggerate how bad life is today because they're caught in the cycle of melodrama.

Oh god, people are starving, and dying. Corporations are sucking the heart out of life, and oh oh drugs are polluting our youth. And greed and selfishness go hand and hand striding across the earth like titans trampling on the last vestiges of honour and virtue.

Life was so much better when tyrants ruled the earth.. sigh

I miss those heady days.
 
I think it depends who uses them. I personally have never told someone I love them unless I actually did! As for hate i can't say I ever use it!

I'd say that I didn't like someone but not that I hate them. They would have to do something really bad to be hated by me.

I do think that the meanings of the words have changed but only when used by certain minoritys.
 
Love is stronger when fueled by hate just as hate is stronger when fueled by love.

Two sides of the same coin.
