It has come to my attention that we have yet another BB ripoff board out there.

Please note that it is NOT okay to use BB graphics (including avatars), forum names, forum descriptions, or anything else from here to make your own site. Lots of people have put in hundreds of hours of work into this board and using their work without permission is stealing.

I also would like to apologize to anyone who received a spam pm promoting Welcome to Buffy-Boards, Slaying Since 2009 - Home. We have banned the member in question.

I will also be contacting proboards about this to have the site removed.

Guess you should take it as a compliment, people only ripoff boards that are successful.
Wow, that's awful!! How could someone try to take credit for BB...and how on earth could they ever think it would work, like people would all of a sudden stop coming here because there's a new one and go there instead...pfft please...this is the best place to be 🙂

This "board" is too funny. It's really not worth the effort.

My 7 year old niece could do better!
 
In all my years on this site I have seem some crap pulled but never anything so brass as this. It makes my blood boil that we have spent years, months and working into the small hours working on this site and someone just comes along and thinks 'oh i'll have this'. It will not be tolerated one iota. Here is hoping that crappy pro board host lives up to their end.
 
Wow, what a pretty site! I wonder how they thought of those neat dorm names. And I love their "coming soon" thread...even more original ideas are coming in the future, I suppose:

I want to share with you some cool ideas we have for the future should we get some new members.

I'm thinking about doing school houses and the like (think Harry Potter) and even screening of buffy/angel eps.

I'm SO glad I'm not the only one that thought so. I was beginning to worry about me after...well, you know. My "knowledge".
There's something suspicious about all of this. That's one crappy looking forum they got.
