TT: Anaheim may extend Detroit to 6 games. But they are a shell of what they were just 2 years ago. The Wings have too many weapons in too many places.

The Sharks are Ottawa West...always missing that one or two key pieces to their puzzle. And I think their door to the Cup has been slammed shut for a while.
Detroit, as a rule, drafts well. It also has a good sense of who to bring in and who to let go.
Hmmm, I'm going to say, Wings in six. The Ducks have problems staying out of the box which gives way to Detroits power play - that's lethal to too many teams. If Anaheim can control themselves, it'll be a good game(s). 🙂

Silly, silly Ducks. 1-1 and this can go which ever way. Just as it should be in the play offs. I just don't like being nervous. 😉 From what I heard though Ducks seemed to be better tonight and deserving the win.

Seems they managed to win more than one game. 😉 Tight, tight but Detroit are also through. Will we see a new final between Pittsburgh and Detroit perhaps? Obviously not impossible. :tongue: Not that Carlolina and Chicago should be underestimated. Bring on the conference finals. Go Detroit!

I forgot about this too. I do like the epicness of it being Wings and Pens. Even more so now that it is going to game 7.
It should be a good game. I think if the pens actually get their heads in the game we might be able to actually do something in Detriot this time. (In my mind game 5 still doesn't exist.)

My two favorite team squaring off yet again. It's as perfect as Chelsea v Man U in the Champions League final. Except that I love Detroit and hate Man U, but I digress.
It was a hockey night in Pittsburgh and the white out totally dominated the pitiful Red Wings!!!!

I was definitely planning on coming on here tonight and reanimating this thread in some epic manner, but it appears I was beat to the punch. 🙂
So . . . Game 7 . . . I'm kinda stressed out. haha.
So, my brother is marrying my best friend on the 12th. They are kinda upset to the point that they wish they'd picked a different date. We're all going camping after the wedding, which to me, is all kinds of weird but they want me and my hubby to go. *shrugs* That was a tangent. Anyway, it has been mutually decided that we will be finding a bar to go to that night to watch the game.
Last time I went to a bar to watch the game the TV my group was watching didn't get the HD channel for some reason. The ones at the bar did. Our channel ran 5 seconds before the HD one so our big group would scream "YAHHH!!!!" and then dead silence for three seconds before the whole bar exploded in cheers. I thought that was amusing.

Excuse me while I laugh like a mad man for a while. muhahahahahahhahahahahaha. Even though I was wrong about the score, its alright. We now not only have the football championship but the hockey too. Its great to be from pittsburgh.
On a side not did anyone see how red Hossa's face was when they showed him after the Pens won.

Well the devils didn't win so I'm not all that happy but I do think that the Pens deserved the win just based on how well Fluery played, esp his last save from the massive rebound at the end of the 3rd.
