We all have different taste. To be honest I don't remember much from the movie. I know I didn't think it was as good as I'd hoped. Happens too often with John Cusack movies. I like him as an actor a lot but not a fan of many of his movies.
I've actually read the book and watched the film. Got a morbid fascination with dystopian novels. But in fairness the whole way through the book and film I kept asking myself...Self? when are they going to stumble upon someone with a Wood gas engine?
Civilian Europe essentially ran off them during WWII when there were fuel shortages.
What's with all the walking, fighting over fuel and needing of slavery when you have wood gas engine & generator ?
I think this is one of the reasons why I have a distaste for end of the world novels, just down right unbelievable. Wood Gas generator powering a farm
Fredikins LOL yeah I thought this was a joke also. I love John Cusack, and he can bring out some emotions at times, but this was definitely not one of those movies.
