What were you up to in 1997 and now in 2017?

Could you drive? Not legally on a road. But yes I was learning a manual at this time in car parks and paddocks.
Did you work? Nope, I was in my last year of primary school! I was on a TV show that year and won a heap of prizes (that I still have lol) payment in toys was the best kind of payment.
Did you have kids? Does a puppy count?
Favourite show? Gosh.. I think at the time it was A*mazing. And perhaps Alex Mac. We did watch the Simpsons but much of it would have gone over my head. I dont know if I had seen buffy that year or the year after, I know the theme song scared me for a while before I saw an episode.
Favourite song? I was definitely listening to Triple M at the time. I know I have a Savage Garden CD.
Any pets? A puppy.
Did you go on holiday? Where to? No. I passed up my chance to go to the US with my sister as I would have missed my graduation and was not going to the same school as my friends. We do still keep in touch, I go to their weddings haha.
Hair colour? Dark blonde
Hobbies? Gymnastics, clarinet, chior, squash, girl guides and netball.
Favourite thing to wear? I was in my school uniform most of the time. Why dirty more clothes! I was barely indoors. If I wasnt in school uniform, I was probably in another club uniform. Or my PJ's from disney land.

Could you drive? Yep, I have an automatic car now. Its kinda boring! But its a big wagon that can go long distance and tow a horse trailer/caravan if need be.
Did you work? Nope. Havent worked at all in 2017 (as in the paid or prize sense!)

Yes, got my license in -96 and I still got it.

Yep. Same work today as in -97 actually. I do slightly different things though.

Nope in -97 and still nope.

Back in -97 I was addicted to Friends and loved the x-files. Besides that I didn't watch much TV back then
Still love those shows today but now I watch too many shows instead.
Among my top favorites today are Babylon 5 and Buffy. They both aired in -97 of course but I got into them a bit later. Buffy a lot later.

Favourite song?
Overall I listen to the same music today as I did back in -97.
I can have periods where I obsess over a specific artist or band though.
Don't really have such period now and I have no idea what it could've been in -97.

Any pets?
Never had any pets.

Did you go on holiday? Where to?
No, I'm not much for traveling outside of work.
So nothing in -97 and nothing planned this year.

I don't know what my hair color is called.
But it's a lot more gray in it these days...

Hobbies?
Also basically the same today as in -97.
Mostly computer programming. 1997 was in the middle of my gaming era though so I played a lot of PC games back then which I almost never get around to do these days unfortunately.

My fashion sense are still non existence just as it was in 1997.
Black jeans and t-shirt always work and I have no plan on change that either...

Favourite show? 97 - Um, Buffy? It was probably something awful tbh. I would watch anything. I'm sure 97 was around the time Channel 5 started up. Quality telly. Fort Boyard and all that.

Now - Angel. I've only grown to love it more over the years.

Favourite song? 97 - Brimful of Asha by Cornershop. One of the first singles I bought so I must have liked it lol.

Now - I've listened to too much music to pick. I was spoiled with music growing up.

Any pets? 97 - 2 cats, and probably a hamster. I think our old cat was still alive in 97.

Now - My parents still have 2 cats. They always had cats since they were 18 and living together. I have one fat cat now.

Did you go on holiday? Where to? 97 - I can't remember. Maybe on a camping trip with the parents. We'd go on a lot of drives to friends of my parents. One couple lived on the north coast. I vividly remember seeing all the stars in the sky with no light pollution when we stopped in the Highlands.

Now - No holidays planned. I really can't be arsed with typical holidays and anywhere I would really want to see would cost thousands of squid.

Hair colour? 97 - Mud brown.

Now - occasionally red but back to mud brown currently.

Hobbies? 97 - Sailing and generally causing trouble. My sister once almost sank a full size sailboat.
