Buffy's 20th anniversary is around the corner... and it's also been 25 years since the movie. I think we're all aware of that, as Buffy fans around the world are getting into a celebretory mood. And I hope I'm not the only one who feels that something big is coming.

Ok, this is not so much an announcement itself as it is a poll about your guesses what Joss and co. are going to announce in the next few days. And there ought to be something. My spidey sense is telling me so.

So let's hear your predictions before the big news drop. (At least I hope they will.)
 
I don't really think 'OMWF: Live, on Ice' would work. Violent/confused/paranoid people don't sing well. And their skin would look pretty bad. They'd probably whistle through their irreparable, crumbling teeth rather than hold a note.
 
A full on Once More, With Feeling broadway musical would be great! I wish they would have a reunion panel at Comic Con this year. I just got the DVDs so I'd hate it if they announced the Blu Rays. Lol. But Id also totally buy it. Unfortunately I do not think Joss or the studios have anything planned.
 
I know it'll never happen, but I'd love a little revival show, even if it's just a 15 minute 'here's what the gang is doing nowadays' kinda thing with all the original cast....

Wishful thinking I know.

This morning my Facebook newsfeed has been blowing up with #BuffySlays20. I saw an interview with SMG on whether or not there would be a BUffy reunion. Sarah replied with "We have reunions all the time. We just don't televise them" She also said that there would be no Buffy movie as Buffy was based on a failed movie.

Sounds like she wasn't ruling anything out though.

For me I'm excited about the new merch. (And currently mentally high fiving myself for deciding to have a Buffy themed party this year)

So as it seems, we'll be getting a reunion something of some sort.

As there are new articles and interviews being published by the minute as we are approaching tomorrow and it's hard to keep up, it was particularly interesting to read today that David Boreanaz posted a very recent pic of him and Charisma just to take it down again, and that comes only about a week after he said no and never ever when asked about an Angel revival in a Bones interview.

Another indication they are all meeting up (and I wouldn't be expecting any less) is that James said that the coming episodes of his internet show Vidiots will feature different Buffy alumni while the current one has Jane Espenson in it.

The thing is, if it was just a panel they were preparing for or so, WHY keep everything so hush-hush about it? Well I don't dare to get my hopes up high but I'm really excited about tomorrow.

P.S.: I have always wondered why Season 11 of the comics is so much shorter than the previous seasons. Maybe we'll get an answer for that tomorrow too!
