Vampires are the hottest thing around -- forget hipsters; being a bloodsucking fiend is where's it's at! Slayers must take the good fight underground if they're to avoid any bad press from the general public.

When Kennedy is sent to Japan to evaluate Satsu's efforts as team leader, they are taken by surprise by some fierce furry creatures who want to do nothing more than destroy Buffy (surprise!), while Twilight remains the captain of the anti-Slayer ship. Steven S. DeKnight (Angel, Smallville, Dollhouse) teams with series artist Georges Jeanty in "Swell."

Wow, the Jo Chen one is great. Kennedy's likeness is spot on. Satsu looks good too. And the Jeantry cover is crazy. evil pokemon. or kittens.

Yeah, it really does look like Kennedy. Really well drawn.
Amazing cover by Jo Chen. She got Kennedy down and Satsu looks different from what I've pictured her but she's still beautiful. I wonder how these two will interact, I kind hope they'll have the same conversation that Stormwreath wrote here:

I love that Jo Chen cover. Kennedy is awesome, and I love actually seeing Satsu in Jo's hand. I'm looking forward to this issue.
 
Interesting.

I wonder if the whole reason for the Buffy/Satsu relationship is to set up a Kennedy/Satsu relationship and the effect it would have on Willow.

We should definitely note that now... that seems like a distinct possibility to me.
Awesome Jo Chen picture. I love her work on the Runaways comics. You're probably aware that Joss did a stint on Runaways, best comic around. I know a lot of season 8 readers won't have read comic's before this, but i can't recommend Runaways enough, it has great humor and action. And fantastic characters. If you like Buffy you'll love it. Joss' run was good, but start at the beginning with Brian K. Vaughn's. His creations, and he writes them best. Karolina, Chase and Molly are my faves.
 
Oh yes, let Kennedy and Satsu hook up and stay in Japan and never be heard of again as Willow and Buffy don't want to talk to them any more! I don't know if I'll be able to take a whole issue about Kennedy but, oh, well...
 
I love the cover. Maybe something with Kennedy and Satsu will happen. But hopefully not. I like SAtsu being in love with BUffy too much. I love Satu. I wanna see her in alot of action in this comic so hopefully ill be satified!!!!!!
 
Kennedy and Satsu getting together would be the hugest slap in the face to willow. Honestly I don't want that to happen, or I feel like everyone will just think satsu is a huge douche. That is a pretty sweet cover, and I for one am quite excited that Satsu is back because I really like the character, she's really cute and insecure, but really strong at the same time, it's strange and I find it likeable
 
Kennedy and Satsu getting together would be awesome. I think Joss has been looking for a way to get rid of both characters and if he were to pair and ship them off, at least they would get a happy ending.
