Just by way of reminder.

I'm gonna be distracted all day, waiting until I get off work and can get to the comic shop.

Yeah, TFAW just notified me today that they were sending it. Now I get to read spoilers for a week before my issue gets here.

I won't get it until April...that is the one thing about TFAW that sucks.

Do you not have a comic shop near you?

They don't carry it, which is really annoying considering one of my best friends works in there and could would give me the comic for free! Angel too...:coolman:

And they won't order you a copy specially? Most comic shops, at least in the U.S., will let you order copies of comics they don't normally carry, but that's because they all come from the same distributor (Diamond). Maybe distribution works differently over there.

I don't know to be honest...I must ask them about that.

I tried to get my comic shop to do that for me, but they have a minimum order of three comics before they'll do that, and since I only read two, they wouldn't do it. As Kean and I are in bascially the same country, I imagine it'd be the same for her.

Have you tried finding someplace a little closer to home? Maybe Amazon UK would let you order in advance. They do here. There would still be a few days' delay, and you would probably have to order each issue individually rather than have a regular subscription, but a month's delay is ridiculous. Does TFAW ship internationally by row boat?

By row boat via Russia it seems. I have tried another company in England but that was just a total bust, they didn't get back to me about the subscription until 6 weeks after I inquired. In a way I like having TFAW cuz I don't have to remember to order them but it might be worth it to go the amazon route.

If your comic shop is willing to order them for you, you wouldn't have to re-order each month. They would keep a thing called a "pull box" for you where they would automatically order one for you and put it aside (along with any other comics you might want to have on your "pull list").

Actually, each store has their own policy. I've visited a couple of different stores in my country. One indeed said you have to order at least 3 comics each month. Another demanded a € 15 advance payment for subscriptions (that's the first five), after that you could just buy in the story. But the one in my town (the one I'm with) doesn't require any of that.
