24 - Live Another Day

They're going to skip 'hours' apparently. I'm struggling to imagine how that will work successfully, but fingers crossed... I've just watched the last episode for the first time a couple of months ago, this feels like when Jay-Z retired for all of five minutes.
 
TV has been a miserable wasteland without the Jack Bauer Power Hour!!!!

Imma super excited that one of my all-time favourite shows is coming back. I'm kinda disappointed that we're not getting to see 24 on the big screen like we were always promised, but now I'm thinking that a weekly dose of Jack Bauer is a much better idea.

Even when it was at it's most stupid (Season 6), 24 was still the most bombastic, exciting and entertaining thing on TV.

Hope Kim Bauer gets mauled by a wild cougar in the opening episode!

She's far more likely to get kidnapped by the cougar!

I never watched it (I know, I know) but now I think I have to so that I can watch this. But what's going to happen with his other show Touch?

Which sucks, because I liked the show and we haven't got season two yet. I hope we do.

But I wonder if Touch was never cancelled, would we still get more 24?

I don't think we would.

It's only because Touch is being cancelled that has opened up Kiefer Sutherland's schedule again.

That and the fact 24's producer Howard Gordon's other show, Homeland, is drawing to a close.
 
This is great news - 24 is my second favorite show of all time. I'm surprised by this thread though because I've mentioned 24 in quite a few posts and nobody has ever responded - I didn't know there were other 24 fans here! 🙂

I just thought you were bad at finishing sentences. You'd be saying something like oh I love 24, and I'd be thinking loves 24 what?

(I know it's a terrible joke and yet I can't resist)
