This blog was written in 2004 so it's old and people have probably read it before but I hadn't and found it refreshingly amusing:

25 Best Buffy Moments Ever

My favorite line:

Was in a love/hate relationship with that blog, and sometimes I got the sensing that the person wasn't really as big of a Buffy fan as she claimed to be. Either way though, number 18 is my absolute favourite, and this line is pretty much the why: " Which makes sense, of course, because when you're Xander and have spent your entire life a loser, and then suddenly you get to date the hottest girl in the world, you definitely want to jeopardize that for your nerdy best friend you've been ignoring all your life. And when you're Willow, and you've been invisible to every guy (including Xander) your entire existence, EXCEPT for this one, cheating on him with the unrequited crush is definitely the way to go. Angry face emoticon. " Love it. Incredibly true, and pretty much exactly what I think EVERYTIME I think about the abomination that is any kind of Willow/Xander love story.

Hrm, I think it's reasonably funny but I think it has a little to much snark for my liking. My favourite kind of snark reviews are always ones where you can tell that the writer absolutely loves the show despite being a wee bit snarky.

I like that he calls Cordelia Chase the hottest girl in the world. I agree.

I like some of the opinions on this blog, he is very blunt (like in the beginning of number 14)

Haha why would someone who doesn't absolutely love the show, take the time to do this? You'd have to be able to remember those moments well enough to write about them and they chose some moments that a casual fan, in my opinion, wouldn't give a crap about. I mean, "Giles in the Kitchen" come.on.

This person loves Buffy. (I might just be saying that because they chose Restless as the number 1 moment 😉)

I agree. I liked the article and giggled out loud at some of the snarky comments from the writer, 'cause they're thoughts I've had in my head for a while now, but I thought there was a little too much snarkiness for me to think this person was a true fan of the show.

One thing that really bothers me is that she makes a big deal about a "sassy black vampire named Mr. Trick" and refers to Olivia as Giles' "black booty call". She seems a little racist. :\

I forgot about that...I read this in its entirety months ago. The first time I read it I wasn't fond of the way she described them either. Yikes. Lets hope she's only slightly ignorant and not totally and intentionally racist.

It was quite a lot to read.... so I skipped a lot of it. But entertaining nonetheless. The writer had some good points and funny comments. I don't think I'd be able to come up with my 25 favorite moments.... it's so hard with a show that has as many amazing moments as this one!
