have anyone seen this film?
i bought it a while ago, but i didn't see it until a few days ago...

i think it's very sacry!! it freaks me out!! very much so! just the whole idea can tose me into a deep depression!!!! but i have to say it is very well made! some beautiful pictures!! and i love the end!

does anyone else have thought to share??? 😉 ::dance::

fantastic film!

the opening shots on westminster bridge are amazing, simply stunning and godspeed you black emperor is just the perfect choice for music!

I luved the ending too polexia! Have you watched the alternative endings on the dvd? Pretty interesting...

I liked it more than I thought I would, I actually thought it was going to be a little bit scarier than it was. The idea is very frightening...but I seem to have an odd interest in that kinda of stuff. The world being wiped out of most of its living/human occupants...

I went to the cinema to see it..i only liked it cus it has my favourite place ever in it which is a place called Waverley Abbey its the ruins of an old monestry (sp?) from 1238 or something cant remember exact date but its old..i go there all the time its my chill out place as when i go there, there is no one ever around and its so peaceful...it was really weird to see it in the film..but yeah the film was ok 😀

Great film - I loved it. The alternate ending was as good as the released ending IMO.

It is a brilliant film, and the first one to scare me in a while i have to say. I think being alone is the scariest thing ever.

is that the place where they camp and see horses?

where abouts is it?

if im ever in the area i'll check it out

It made me go, "Oh wow," which very few films make me do these days. And I saw it again when it was re-released with the alternate ending. Know how the alternate ending was placed after the credits? After all the pub about that, most of the audience left as the credits started to roll!

BTW - Dawn of the Dead. Bloody terrific. If you liked 28 Days Later...

i only have the vhs- but now i really want the dvd!

carlyh: i think so to! when he walkes out of the hospital and there are noone there.. that's a bit freightning!

i thought this film was very scary! and after reading a bit on this thread i'm sorta glad that the hype around it never got to me! 😛

Well, I can agree that this movie was very well done. The concept was very intertaining considering the zombie flix in which we've all seen before. The only two worth a damn are 28 Days Later and Resident Evil. I like it when they have actual plot worthy background to them. But I must admit, I have a zombie phobia as of late and just thinking about it is disturbing...in a very cool way though...

Awww Come On Rayne... Dawn Of The Dead is on the horizen and that is supposed to be fantastic.

28 Days however.. was a good movie but it didn't really impress, the idea has been done before and although there was a twist here and there, it was cool to see those but I just felt it relied on the average scare and a bit of gore... Blah... that monkey at the beginning... blargh... ick!! 😀

I think Dawn Of The Dead follows the same kind of premise....

I saw Dawn of the dead last night, it was ok very much like 28 days later, and did bear resemblence to the original dawn of the dead film, although i am undecided as to which version i thought was better.

Awww...and here I'll never be able to truely argue this point since, barring my sanity returns, I have sworn off all zombie flicks...after awhile of tearing out dead things throats in your sleep you start to become less passive about such things...

Awww Rayne hunny... just you wait and see, Dawn of The Dead shall renew your faith in Zommmmbies and things that go bump in the night... they've even released the first eight minutes of the movie on the web 😀 But I shall wait until next weekend, teasers that make me want more get on me tits 🙂

Well, believe me...it's not for a lack of really wanting to see the movie...I love horror...but it's strange the way that phobias seem to work...they often come out of nowhere...I have one of those really realistic zombie guys that go in your yard for Halloween...he sits in our kitchen...and he watches me...and he waits...

REDRUM! REDRUM! REDRUM!
