That was a really good episode and my favourite. Anyone want to Discuss it here??

anyways here are some of my fav quotes:

Spike: She just left. She didn't even care enough to cut off my head or set me on fire. I mean, is that too much to ask? You know? Some little sign that she cared?

Spike: It was that truce with Buffy that did it. Dru said I'd gone
soft. Wasn't demon enough for the likes of her. And I told her it didn't mean anything, I was thinking of her the whole time, but she didn't care.

Angel: Spike.
Joyce: Oh, my God. Get out of here!
Spike: Yeah. You're not invited.
Joyce: He's crazy. He'll kill us.
Spike: Not while I breathe. Well, actually, I don't breathe.
Angel: Joyce, listen to me.
Joyce: You get out of this house, or I will stake you myself.
Spike: You're a very bad man.
Angel: (seething with anger) Joyce, you can't trust him. Invite me in.
Angel: You touch her, and I'll cut your head off!
Spike: Yeah? You and what army?
Buffy: That would be me. Angel, why don't you come on in?

Spike: (faces them) You're *not* friends. You'll never be friends.
You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag,
and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. (points at his temple) Love isn't brains, children, it's
blood... (clasps his chest) blood screaming inside you to work its will. *I* may be love's bitch, but at least *I'm* man enough to admit it.

Buffy: Could we just do the damn spell now?

Spike: Oh, sod the spell. (waves it off) Your friends are at the
factory. (smiling) I'm really glad I came here, you know? I've been all wrongheaded about this. Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else. I want Dru back, I've just gotta be the man I was, (stands proud) the man she loved. I'm gonna do what I shoulda done in the first place: I'll find her, wherever she is, tie her up, torture her until she likes me again.

Well i think you covered all mine...My personal faves are

Love isnt brains children...its blood.Blood screaming at you to work its will...

Yea that was v.good! but verry sad because he loved dru and she went so it was sad and yea

These are my fave quotes:

SPIKE: (to Buffy and Angel) ''Oh, yeah, you're friends... You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. ~Points at his temple~ Love isn't brains, children, it's blood. ~Clasps his chest~ blood screaming inside you to work its will. I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.''

SPIKE: (re: Dru) ''She just left. She didn't even care enough to cut off my head or set me on fire. I mean, is that too much to ask? You know? Some little sign that she cared?''

SPIKE: (to Angel) ''It doesn't work like that, peaches. And when did you become all soul-having again?. I thought you outgrew that.''

I loved this episode! Spike was so adorable drunk!lol SPIKE: (to Buffy and Angel) ''Oh, yeah, you're friends... I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.''<-----totally agree with you magui! great quote.

Alkotr of people like that quote!! Lots do a summary!

People who like it: OFF SCALE!
People who dont like it: minus 100000.

that really was a great ep! i think everyone got the great lines covered. and to see spike completely pissed/wankered/drunk as a skunk in a bunk is great comedy!

It wasn't my favorite episode, but it was still really good. I always enjoy spikes humor.

all of the quotes covered are the best of the episode and one of my personal favorites.... "Love isn't Brains"

one of the parts that is good (well, not good because it's sad) is when they show Cordelia on the ground skewered and she tells Xander that she can't see him and then her head lolls to the side. And then BAM! the next scene is a graveyard, during a funeral service. Everytime I watch it, I get goosebumps because it always reminds me of the first time I saw it and I thought Cordelia had died. So chilling.

Shopkeeper: Did you come in through the back?
Spike: Yeah. I need a curse.
Shopkeeper: A what?
Spike: A curse! Y'know, something nasty. Boils. I wanna
give him boils all over his face. You know, dripping pustules. Let's
really go for the gusto here.
Shopkeeper: I'm hearing a lot of negative energy, and I bet...
Spike: Leprosy! Alright, a spell that makes his parts fall
off. That sounds proper.
Shopkeeper: We don't carry leprosy.

Spike: I need to borrow the little girl. You don't mind, do you? Threatening me? That's not nice.

Spike: We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.
Buffy: I guess you had to be there.

I remember the first time I saw this episode. The opening, with the way it mirrored Spike's intro in School Hard (smashing the Sunnydale sign with his car)....I was so juiced when I saw that! There may have been some actual bouncing up and down with excitement.

I prob woulda thoght that to if I hadent seen of screen captures beforehand (I watched it as a repeaT!)

I loved that episode!! A great one. Isn't that the where Spike likes..

The kitchen at the Summers house. Joyce picks up the teakettle from the
stove and takes it over to the island, where she pours some into a cup
for Spike to make hot chocolate.

Spike: So I'm strolling through the park, looking for a meal, and I
happen to walk by, and she's making out with the chaos demon! And so I
said, 'You know, I don't have to put up with this.' And she said,
'Fine!' So I said, 'Fine, do whatever you like!' I mean, I thought we
were going to make up, you know.

Joyce: (sits across from him) Well, she sounds very unreasonable.

Spike: She is. She's out of her mind. (sniffs) That's what I miss most
about her. (smiles)

Joyce: Well, Spike, sometimes even when two people seem right for each
other, their lives just take different paths. When Buffy's father and
I...

Spike: (interrupts) No, this is different. Our love was eternal.
Literally. (calms down) You got any of those little marshmallows?

This is the following article I found in this thread.

-In the Factory when Spike grabs Willow's head and threatens her with a broken glass, her hair covers her face, but when they change angle (when she talks) there's no hair in her face.
Why did Buffy let Spike go so easy. Her friends could of been dead.
-How is it that vampires can get affected by chemicals in their bodies anyway? I mean, doesn't it have to go through their bloodstreams, to reach their hearts and brains and stuff? If their hearts don't beat, then the poisons shouldn't be able to spread. And also, if their hearts don't beat, then all their blood should be located down at their feet. So why do they bleed when you cut them anywhere else? Hmmm.
-in the morning, when spike is laying outside Angel's mansion he gets burned and screams like all hell. How would Angel not hear him?
-There's some bad editing when Buffy has Spike pinned down on the counter at the Summers' home: first she has her right hand around his throat with her left hand on his torso, touching only his black shirt. Then her left hand is visibly touching his red shirt, then back to being only on his black shirt. Then when shot suddenly cuts to another angle, it's now her left hand on his throat.
-Usually when a vampire gets steaked through the heart and the steak stays in the vampire's chest it dusts with the vampire but when Buffy breaks the broom and steaks the two vampires the broom handle doesn't dust and we distinctly hear it fall to the floor.

Spike was hilarious in this episode. But I enjoyed the Xander/Willow storyline when Cordy and Oz ran in while they were kissing
