Day 12: Your favourite animated film?
I’ve only watched a few animated films. My fav childhood film (Batman: Mask of the Phantasm) overlaps with this, but a more recent example is Wreak-It Ralph.

I also liked Castle in the Sky when I watched it for the first time recently on tv.
 
Day 11; Your favorite film from your childhood?
Beauty and the Beast, I think, but I'm not sure. I remember being very happy getting B&B from my great grandmother for Christmas one year though. But I also remember renting True Lies an awful lot with my sister.

Day 12; Your favorite animated film?
Spirited Away maybe

Two different versions of The Little Mermaid, the Disney one and a Japanese animation from the 70s which portrays the original story with the horrendously depressing ending.

I love the original H.C. Andersen story, though the movie is cool, too :D

Well, many years ago, my family said that I loved it so much, so I believe them. I didn't remember that movie. So later after they told me that I loved it so much, I rewatched it and it's kind of true that the scene in the toilets is a sort of deja vu.

Same here! I watched it when I was a kid, loved it, didn't remember it, saw it again a couple years ago and it felt like déjà vu.

Day 10: Your favorite director?
I have to say Quentin Tarantino because the director work on Kill Bill alone is my favourite ever.

Day 11: Your favourite film from your childhood?
I watched Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (the remake) all the time (same as other people here, I used to drive my mom nuts at the video store until she taped it), I still probably know it by heart.

Day 12: Your favorite animated film?
Megamind or Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs.
 
Day 13; A film that you used to love but now you hate?
I don't know that I have one, actually. The closest I can think of is The Lovely Bones but the first time around I didn't finish it and then, years later, when I finally did finish it, I hated it. Not sure that counts 🙂

(wouldnt really say 'love' as if I 'loved' a movie I probably still do.. but that was close enough)

I kinda wanna say Charlie & The Chocolate Factory because now I see the defaults.

I dunno if I have one either. The closest would be Batman Returns. I remember liking it when I first watched it as a teenager, but when I went back to it again nearly a year ago, I hated it.

Wouldn't say hate. Just that I think it's really overrated and doesn't age well.
Seen it as a kid & then years later as a teen. Really liked it when was younger. Not so much when was older. 😳

Hate is probably too strong a word but there are a few films I loved in childhood which I found don't hold up as an adult, such as All Dogs Go To Heaven and FernGully.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Stand By Me, Back to the Future trilogy, or It (although I guess that's really a mini series)...I cant decide and I could probably mention a bunch more 😉

Day 12 : Your favourite animated film?
Alice in Wonderland.

Day 13 : A film that you used to love but now you hate?
I wouldn't say "hate" but the Austin Powers movies have not held up for me at all. I don't find them funny like I did when I was little.

It would change constantly, but the first one that immediately came to mind was this one, from Fried Green Tomatoes, a favorite of mine.
