Day 05: A show you hate?

Bonekickers. A BBC series of only 6 episodes but it was truly, wretchedly awful; it combined a shaky grasp of archaeology, stupid/crazy/unlikable characters, canyon sized plot-holes and a cruddy understanding of basic history. All that along with lashings of terrible PC liberal historic revisionism and many flat-out lies. It's like this show was designed to tick every one of my personal hates and does so effortlessly. It made me view the channel in a whole new way, it was that bad.
 
Day 05: A show you hate?
Like Spanky, I could probably list half the shows (& most of reality) on TV in the last 10 years.
But, I think I'll reserve this show for Book's special level of Hell: Keeping Up with the Kardashians
This show has coughed up the likes of Kim, Kendall, Kylie and a bunch of other forgettably nauseous members of their talentless family, spouses & friends.
Thanks E! - for nothing! 😡 A pox on yer network! 🧙‍♂️
 
Day 05: A show you hate
I'm going to pick a non-reality TV show bc ALL reality tv is horrid.
So a show I hate would have to be Reign. The historical inaccuracies are laughable. The plot lines are weak. The only thing good about the show was Francis, and we all know what happens to him due to history. But since they clearly didn't want to follow history, they should have just let him live. I couldn't even finish the show after his exit since he was pretty much the only likable character.
 
Day 05: A show you hate?
Watching Family Guy is like watching the fabric of reality collapse. It is a Baudrillardean nightmare. Language with no referent. Sound, fury and vulgarity, signifying nothing. Entropy! Thermodynamic equilibrium!

It has some really funny moments but is mostly awful.
Day 05: A show you hate?

Ninety Day Fiancee

This is a show about people on a 90-day visa who have to get married or the foreign one of the couple has to return home. It shows all the idiocy that goes on ion a forced romance. Fortunately, most of them split up.

Going to be very predictable and go with BtVS!

Honestly, just about any police procedural (from America). CSI, Criminal Minds, Bones, there are literally only 3 exceptions for me, atm.

Day 5 - A show you hate
I was gonna say Big Bang, but @RachM beat me to it and explained it way better than I ever could. I don't hate many shows, but I hate this one.

My other choice would probably be 90210 (the reboot, never seen the original). The main character is the worst person ever but somehow always manages to be the victim, the (pseudo-)teen drama is way over the top, none of the characters are relatable or even likeable, etc. So disappointed by Rob Thomas on this one. But I still like him.

Hate is a strong word, but Breaking Bad, I guess. I very strongly dislike the later seasons of Family Guy as well.

Still only seen 2 or 3 episodes of BB but I find it hard to believe it justify's the hype.
Can I still do Day 1 through 4 ? I'm just being polite, I'll do it anyway:

Day 1 - A show that should have never been canceled
I have to say Firefly. It's one of my favourite shows and I always want more of it.

Day 2 - A show that you wish more people were watching
I'm glad @Mylie beat me to it because it means someone else is watching: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I'm trying to get all my friends and family hooked on it. *Stefon voice* This show has everything: so many relatable and amazing characters, hilarious and depressing moments, kickass musical numbers... I could go on forever. I learned sooo many things thanks to that show.

Day 3 - Favourite new show
I wanna steal @Mr Trick's idea and say Killing Eve. All the actors were fantastic. And I'm only at ep 1 of Sharp Objects so I can't really call it my "favourite".

Day 4 - Favourite show ever
I'm hesitating between BtVS which means a lot to me and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend which is all around perfect.

@Mr Trick "I've not heard anyone talk about it that highly." Not to single you out specifically, but you did say that Weeds should be on the list for Greatest TV Drama of the 21st Century.

When did I say that? If you can show me the post I'll own up to it. Unless a Alien invaded my body I'm almost certain I never said that😀 I really enjoy Weeds personally, but not sure I would rate it that high. Unless of course you are joking in which case, good one!😉

I'd say a show like Your face or Mine because it is truly mean spirited and adds no entertainment value or insight. They just appeal to such a low common denomiator.

I didn't look up a thread from two years ago to prove a point. You asked me to show you. I did. Don't make it out like it was some grand hunt to prove you wrong. Don't have to look hard to do that.
