Angel #3
"The darkest, most complex and interesting, and best of the Joss Whedon shows, especially during Season 5 when it was wrongly canceled."

Sososo true
BTW can some remind me why it was cancelled?

Drive(Nathan Fillion) #9
"with Nathan Fillion. Only because I hate it when shows get canceled right after a cliff-hanger.""

And
10 Glenn Quinn's
Covington Cross
"Does anyone besides me remember this show? It took place in medieval times...kind of a cross between comedy and drama. I loved that show and was so upset when they took it off."

Okay, so they listed Carnivale, Jericho, Angel and Rome but how in the WIDE WORLD OF EVERYTHING GOOD AND PROPER can they NOT list Deadwood. That should have been #1 on the list. David Milch is a mastermind and Deadwood was the best thing ever to happen to TV. Period. Times like these really got my blood racing. I gotta go relax.. honestly!

I never get attached and invested in characters, never, but I loved those characters with such a passion to the point I actually did care about flickering lights on a screen. They were created so perfectly they were just short of being real. It is a pity that people could not get past the language barrier to witness gold. I canceled HBO when they canceled Deadwood.

Arrested Development, Carnivale, Freaks and Geeks!!! ::crying2: ::crying2: ::crying2: ::crying2:

I had to zip through that list to make sure Wonderfalls was on it. If not I was going to come back here and rip on the list. It was there though, so I'll spare you.

Wonderfalls love!
I'm right there with the Angel thing. I would've loved to see Spike/Illyria progress and of course Wesley/Illyria. Spike/Angel (hilair)

I'm still mourning

We all still feel for the cancellation of Angel. The last season I really missed Cordelia, and I was also sort of pissed off about the general death wave (Lilah, Fred, Wesley), but other than that it was a good season.

Kitchen Confidential! Created by Darren Star, aired as a lead-in for Arrested Development, starring Bradley Cooper, Nicholas Brendan, John Cho, Bonnie Summerville, and the rest of an amazing cast. It was a light, frothy cocktail of a show that I'm so sad there will never be more of. —Alli

Another great Whedonverse show! I loved this show when it was on tv and Nick was hilarious in it.

i loved it too!
The list drags so slowly on my Dumb computer.

No list is complete with Brisco County Junior...(I did not see it if it was there).

By the way Fake Shemp...it's got Bruce Campbell in it!

A great show I miss dearly.

Talk about wierd, I was just checking it out on wicki to see if they have any more stuff like comics etc. about it.....

One of the cast memebers real life name is Xander...not Alexander but Xander Berkeley... he played a guy named Bret Bones.

The wierd xanderness continues...the Detroit lions (my favorite team, if you have'nt allready heard me shout that from the mountain) have a punter (thats about all they manage to do anymore is punt the damn ball)....His name is Nick Harris, kind of a hybrid of Nicholas B. and A. Harris.

Sorry, I am easily distracted...look a moth....

back to missed shows...

Holy Crap, not just that but one of the props (mare legs pistol) was used as a rifle carried by Zoe in Firefly...

I'm starting to get weirded out now.....It's like a flaw in the matrix program for recipes in greatness and I'm seeing it....

I didn't even know half of them shows maybe I'm you young? but Angel definitely as cut way to soon it just had an amazing season. I'm still mourning.

Thank God ANGEL was cancelled. As much as I loved the shows in the earlier years, I don't think I could deal with another season like the last two...ugh.

I watched like 11 out of those 31 shows, Jeevus! RIP Veronica Mars *glares at The CW* I will miss you till the day I die, you and my dear Logan 🙁 Freaks and Geeks, My-So Called Life and Popular, I'm still so hardcore bitter about all of them being cancelled, all 3 BRILLIANT and the network execs were too stupid to realize it. Also my blood still boils when i think about how they left us hanging on Reunion, GRRRRR!!!!

I go with freaks and geeks, carnivale, arrested development - deadwood should be on there, and a show called now and again.

Still miss this show. Great Characters, great story, great acting, a whole lot of greatness.

Season 5 is my favourite season...

Shows I miss dearly (that were included in the list): Freaks and geeks, Angel and Veronica Mars (I´ve just rewatched this and gahhh am I mad).

Shows I´d watched if they continued: Sports Night (It´s Aaron Sorkin!!!), My So Called Life (why oh why haven´t I´ve given this show the time it deserves?), Arrested Development, Kitchen Confidential and Joan of Arcadia (yes, it was incredibly cheesy but I kind of liked it all the same).

Don't be so quick to judge - Buffy had to go through Season 4 before it got to Season 5.
Season 4 was really good...very underrated...

I thought season 5 of AtS was almost completely unwatchable. Just too radically different from where it started, the plots weren't as tightly wound, too many crappy stand-alones, and the lack of Cordelia and Lilah (and the inclusion of EVE) was unforgivable...

To be truthfull I have to say that I've never heard of (or seen) :

Freaks and Geeks, Sports Night, Grosse Pointe, Popular, Drive, Covington Cross, Veronica Mars, Eyes, Carnivale, Brimstone, Skin, Once & Again, Wonderfalls, My So Called Life, Boomtown!, Kitchen Confidential!, Century City, Jake 2.0, Gideon's Crossing, Joan of Arcadia, Homefront, Jack & Bobby, Reunion!, Kindred: The Embraced.

I don't know if it says anything about me not getting to see all these shows or if it says something about British TV not picking these up whilst they were running as a lot of shows don't get the bullet if they're shown over here.

Either way, it scares me the amount of shows that I'm missing!

If you want to start closing the gap I suggest go go out and rent S1 of Veronica Mars IMMEDIATELY! :p

Most likely a mix. I have trouble believing that all those shows never have been shown but I wouldn´t bet on that all have been shown either. And as for missing out. Some of the shows are clearly directed to teens so that they might passed you by is understandable. And everyone one misses out. No one can watch everything and where´s also this thing called having a life. But even if it wasn´t you still wouldn´t have time to watch them all.

Life? What's one of those? ;)
I haven't heard or seen many of those either.

Am I the only one that loved the show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
It was created by Aaron Sorkin and had Matthew Perry, Amanda Peet and Bradley Whitford but was still cancelled after a year.
Firefly and Studio 60 is the shows that I hate the most that they got cancelled. Especially Firefly.
Would also have watched Angel if it had continued of course...

Of course I miss Studio 60. Not as good as the west wing but not many shows are.
