To be honest, I really don't think Angel belongs on a list like this, not because I don't love it, but because it had five seasons and over 100 episodes. That's a fairly decent run and it had a satisfying ending. Firefly would have been much more appropriate for this list.

There should be another list of shows that went on and on and on and on..... Put Charmed up there at the top.

Of the shows mentioned I'd never shed a tear for any of them aside from Angel. (folks who didn't like season five I just don't understand)

And they didn't mention Firefly? Whoever put this list together is sorely out of the loop. Firefly is probably the most controversial and hottly contested cancellation of the last 10 years.

Interesting what was said about Angel. I agree with it being his darkest and most complex show, but I certainly don't agree it was is best. Buffy surely has that slot.

And why in the hell wasn't Firefly mentioned? Or Battlestar Galactica?

darkest but most complex? I think Firefly has that one, it created its own western style crazy unvierse! All Angel did is take the well established vamp mythology and spin it.
Like a lot of you guys I haven't heard of many of these. The one that I really miss is Veronica Mars #11. I watched the entire first season and forgot when the second season was going to start. For most shows that wouldn't be an issue, but Veronica Mars you really have to watch it from the beginning. I loved that show though =(.
