Last year in France, 80 extras were on a music-video set engaging in various activities – from barbecueing to talking on their phones – when a car drove past at 50 kilometres an hour, filming them. The shoot was over in literally five seconds and Guillaume Panariello, the French filmmaker behind the video, called it ‘the shortest shooting ever’.
Originally filmed at 1000 frames per second, the slow motion version stretches five seconds into three-and-a-half minutes. Here is the result:
