Angel: Episode 9 Spoilers!

Brandnew spoilers of episode 9 of Angel`s fifth season.

Angel: Episode Nine

The episode itself seems to pretty well center around Harmony and the other office assistants. The episode focuses on her day to day at Wolfram and Hart. One of the early scenes has her getting Angel his morning cup of blood, and we get a peek at the employee break room. Several minor characters are introduced, Charlotte, Brittany, and Tamika among others. The scene has the group discussing office gossip, such as who Fred may be involved with. There seems to be a good bit of discussion about if she's hooked up with Knox or someone else. (more than like Gunn, based on the references, as it insinuates a past relationship and it's not Wesley)

Harmony is a bit of an outsider, and that also seems to be a theme in the episode. She doesn't fit in with the office staff, and there is also a bit where she goes out to a bar with Fred (who seems eager to leave as soon as she can). There is also seems to be some kind of drug testing going on (at least one character references it early on, and it seems that most of the staff is having their blood tested on a random basis).

Near the end of the episode, it's revealed that there has been some backstabbing going on behind the scenes. We find what would seem to be a new character, Crystal, confronting Lorne's assistant Van about something. From the info I have, it's obvious that Crystal is Harmony. She's been framed by someone and thinks that it's Van. Suddenly, Van is knocked out by someone entering from off-screen. It's Tamika, and she's after Crystal/Harmony's job. She's not happy that Crystal/Harmony got chosen to be Angel's assistant over some more experienced workers, like herself. A fight begins between the two, but Crystal/Harmony thinks she has the upperhand because she's a vampire. Until it turns out that Tamika is as well. An extensive fight follows.

The only other tidbit I could gather, is that Angel and Gunn seem to be involved in some kind of negotiation between two demon tribes.

Can't wait!!!!

If this is true, I'm gonna quit watching the show.

Too darn complecated for me, and I don't see how such a complicated plot works in a Harmony-based ep, I don't think she'd get it 😀

New Spoilers for Episode 9!

Just a bit more info came out on Episode Nine.Nothing that explains why Harmony is calling herself Crystal these days, but it does explain why she's in trouble.

The previously mentioned confab that Angel and Gunn were holding between two demon tribes, is obviously an attempt to keep them from going to war over each other. Apparently one of the tribe members was killed, and the other tribe is demanding a blood sacrifice.

Crystal/Harmony was framed, first by having Angel's morning pigs blood swapped out with some of the human variety. Then, the guy that picked her up in the bar, is found dead in her bed the next day.
Most interesting aspect is that they are casting Van for this episode, although he's supposed to appear in Episode Eight.

It's pretty apparent that the final episode of Sweeps will likely be a light filler episode, which I kind of had a hunch it might be. Which means the big Sweeps climax is likely to be in Episode Eight. I'm more than a bit confused about the name change, but perhaps framing Harmony involved some kind of illusion (maybe she doesn't look like Harmony in the latter-half of the episode). It's obviously her, as with the references to her position in Wolfram and Hart and threats to her unicorn collection, there can be little doubt.

New Spoilers for Episode 10 of Angel!

New casting sides for episode 10 were released. It looks like an episode centered around Spike. Have Fun.

****

In the first bit, a woman named Lana (god, don't let this be a Smallville crossover event) runs into frame, screaming. A vamp is chasing her, and he's about to go in for the kill when suddenly Spike appears. The vamp tells Spike to get lost, to which Spike replies that he already *is* lost, according to some. Lana begs for help, and the vamp tells Spike to get lost. Spike refuses. They square off. The vamp postures, and Spike punches him right in the throat. Spike pulls a makeshift stake from some nearby crates and dusts the vamp. Lana thanks Spike, and Spike chastises her for being alone in the neighborhood, asking if she is stupid or something. She says she was just trying to get home, and Spike tells her to get a cab - how simple is she? Lana backs off, not sure what to make of Spike, and he tells her when a stranger offers candy, not to get in the van. He shakes his head as she walks away.

At the beginning of act two, a man and woman are huddled next to some crates, in fear of their lives. A vamp slams into the crates near them. The camera pulls back to reveal Spike, who is in a fight with these two vamps. He moves to follow up with the vamp he send flying into the crates, but the second one manages to take him down. Spike counters quickly, getting up and feigning pain. The vamps charge, and Spike double ratchet stakes them, like Angel's move in 1.1 (yes, it says that). Spike looks over to the couple, and the man wonders what those things were. Spike says he's better off not knowing. He begins to walk away, but the woman asks who he is. Spike looks at her, brooding, and says it doesn't matter....but then gives it up and turns friendly. Says he's Spike, how are you doing, and extends his hand. The man reluctantly shakes it. Spike inquires as to what their plans were for tonight, and the couple explains that they were going to dinner. Spike says that sounds great, and moves as if to walk with them. The man and woman don't move, and feebly articulate that they should go.
*****

There's a lovely field of green hills, with a castle in the distance, a rainbow resting one end atop it. Spike says it's beautiful, and Gunn agrees, saying now it's time for Spike's reward. Wesley backs Gunn up. Spike says he didn't do this for a reward, and Gunn explains that's why he's getting one. The lights dim, and the Blue Fairy enters, replete with sparkly blue dress. She glides past Angel and over to Spike. Wes says that anyone who saves the universe from eternal bloodshed and misery desreves to get what he always wanted....and Fred finishes the sentence. To be a real boy. The fairy comes up to Spike and raises her wand, saying he shall, and taps his head. Pixie dust swirls around Spike, and he presses his hand to his chest, overjoyed.

The first casting spoilers for episode 11 of Angel. Have Fun.

The untitled episode 11, written by Steve S. DeKnight and directed by Jefferson Kibbee, seems to focuses on a woman named Dana, a mental patient who has been institutionalized from the age of 10 following a traumatic experience. This character, which is listed as a major guest role, is having violent outbursts and Angel brings in a creepy pyschic to find out what her deal is.
