I just watched "Restless" after not seeing it for a while and i wondered whether anyone else noticed that in buffy's dream when she tells tara that the bed was messed up what her and faith made.... she looks at the clock, and says its late, the clock says 7.30 as in "counting down to 7-3-0" and Tara replies that the clock is all wrong, referring to the fact buffy will die sooner than 2 yrs (730 days)...... did anybody else notice this?

or am i being really silly?!

Yeah, I think Tara meant that Buffy had even less time to live now. The clock was wrong because she didn't have 730 days left, but 365.

Isn't it just a motif? Because in Graduation day Faith says 'Counting down from 730' which was a reference [sp?] that from that episode, Buffy had exactly 2 years to live. Then at the end of Season 4, the clock 7:30 is wrong. It is now exactly a year till she dies. So its just a reference [again, sp?]

Actually, the "counting down from 7-3-0" according to Whedon, referred to the introduction of Dawn, which came exactly 730 days later.

Yeah. According to the special features of season 5, in "Spotlight on Dawn" Joss states that he is indeed referencing Dawn through Faith... I never would've figured that out... Joss thinks we're too smart 😵
