Episode Title: Parting Gifts

Discuss this episode here. How did you react to Cordelia receiving the visions? Did you see this coming as part of her character development?

I was actually pretty surprised to see Cordelia getting these visions, but in a way, I wasn't surprised at all. Let me clarify...

I figured that Cordelia's character would develop in some way. With her working at the agency for Angel, I got the feeling that she was connected to the show, but she wasn't completely tied into it. If she wanted to, her character could just walk away and go on with her life. Once she got the visions, she was permanently attached to Angel and the mission. Therefore, while I was surprised that it was the visions, I figured that they would get her more involved in some way.

I agree. It always seemed like in early season one, she would have left AI if she got an acting job that lasted. But when she got the visions, it seemed like there was more of a purpose for her. Like the beginning of season two, when she walks out of her audition to help Angel.

Well this is true , as the events in Birthday proved. To be honest though Cordy was not doing an awful lot early in the show and the only real character aspect was her "relationship" with Doyle , when he died they needed to inject something in her and the visions worked out perfect.

Yeah, I agree with you all... The vision made porpouse to her life and to the character to continue on the show xD

And the auction part was great! It was so Cordelia, she complaining of her price =P
