It is pretty amazing that the more you read of the first one the easier it was to understand. Before long, you were reading it as if it were normal.

It was easy to read the paragraph and to find the letters/numbers.

Actively looking for a shipping war? Jeez, that's the reason it's been seven years since I've been a part of any fandom. I think I enjoyed them, for about two months. (Now I'm thinking of an Avengers based meme, something like "In my youth, I courted shipping wars" or something equally dumb...)

As for the reading stuff, that wasn't all that difficult. I've done so many word searches in my life that I can skim things really efficiently.

Has anyone been on those speed reading sites?

You click start, start reading the passage on the screen, when 1 minute has passed a message pops up, you click on the last word you read, and then it tells you how many words per minute you read.

I don't believe only 55 people out of 100 are supposed to be able to rad that (well maybe if you count illiterate people). We did stuff like this in some lectures (I study Psychology), it's just the way the mind works, nothing to feel special for.
