OK, here's the deal. I have been searching for more than a year for this music they used for background during many episodes of Buffy. I want to say they used it in Seeing Red and Entropy, and the music was also used in the PS2 game Buffy TVS: Chaos Bleeds. I have even heard this music on other shows including Reaper and South Park (The Evil Pet Shop episode and Fourth Grade). It is just vocals, no words, like an eerie ethereal vocal score that they play in the background sometimes, especially later in the shows run, season 5-7. I really want to find out what this music is. Like I said, no words but it is vocal, and it isn't humming, its just (sorry for repeating) vocals. It's a woman's voice. Soothing but creepy at the same time. Does any one know what I am talking about at all? I can try and get a clip of it to put up so you can hear what I am talking about if you can't recognize it from my description. Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

I figured in anyone could help me find it, it would be the people on this board. Thanks in advance.

It's also at the beginning of the level "Mansion of Madness" in the game Timesplitters 3.

The only time i've heard it on Buffy though is i think in "This Year's Girl" in the dream where Faith is running in a graveyard and falls into an open grave

It's like "ooh ooh ooh oooooh", real spooky like.

That the one?

Thanks everyone.:bounce:

The name of the composer is Graeme Norgate. I'm going to see if I can get the name of the piece.

Ok it is literally called the Mansion of Madness. Just like SOP said, google the game Timesplitters and you will get several results that should help you out with obtaining the music🙂

Spirit_Of_........Ped? lol, karma for making me smile...with typos :P
It's in several other places though, it was in Buffy years before that Timesplitters game even start being made...

If I may offer a suggestion both Buffy and Angel have watcher guides that have entire sections dedicated to the music from both shows. I would reccomend these as reference guides. Not only does it break it down by episode but it also has the artist and title as well.

I know but I scoured the net for Buffy music guides and it didn't turn up on one of them. Does it really matter though? It's still the same composer.

Kean: I know, i'm just saying i doubt the music is actualy called Mansion of Madness

Ok, a little google/wiki/imdb searching say it might be the title music to "End of Days", an Arnie Swartsanager(yes i know i butchered his name) movie. It should be on the score soundtrack by John Debney. Anyone wanna try and find that song to see if it is the right one?

It's supposedly a Latin and Sanskrit chorus, so it sounds like it could be the right one...

Oh I know neither do I...the only other information I found was that he was inspired by the Shinning when composing it
I checked out teh John Debney thing and it is just called End of Days-Main Title.

How have both these people composed this piece?

I think either just John Debney made the album, not the song. OR. They both made songs that included the chorus we are trying to find
