If Buffy became a religion, would you convert to it?

I'm just curious to read people's opinions.
 
OH YEAH! haha, or maybe I'd just have two religions...if thats possible..😛 anyway definitely. guess what I want to major in university? BUFFY! lol
 
I like Buffy and all, but if I won't want to convert to a real reigion, then I doubt I'd convert to a Buffy religion. Although I do thoroughly enjoy Buffy all the same.
 
Sure, I would convert - if all I had to do is lie around the house watching Buffy.:biggrin:
 
*Trying to be seriouos" It really depends. I need more info on how it works. Do I need to go to a special house/building every sunday to sing songs from OMWF and quoting the "bible" (episode transcripts), wear certain clothes and only be able to marry other people from the same religion? Then I think I´ll pass. Too much of a commitment. Not that strict? I´ll certainly consider it. Give me some guidelines!!!!
 
It sounds a lot more fun than most religions. But what would our churchly people be called? You know like instead of Fathers or Rabais we'd have.....Watchers? And our houses of worship would be called....Scooby Centrals? And what would we be called? Buffyish, Bufflic, Scoobies?


So many questions. Haha. But I'd definitely consider converting. I suspect it would be a rather cool and laid-back yet dedicated relgion. With puns.
 
I always say I'm a Buffist. So I think that's a good name for us Buffy worships. And house of worship could be called 'The Bronze". Our God is Joss. And the Buffy books are the bible (pick one).

As long as the core values were practical and non-judgemental I would consider it. Kinda worried about the whole worshipping a false idol yada yada 🙂
 
No way...I love the show but a when I see the words Buffy Religion what I read is Buffy Cult.

This question is kinda sacreligious isn't it🙂

Sometimes I think I already use Buffy like a religion - I think about it every day, I study the 'scripture' (show and comics), I read other 'devotionals' to the text (essays, discussions etc), and I communicate with other practioners regularly (that would be you guys). Yeah, sounds like a religion to me🙂
