1. Well I really don't feel like searching through every episode of Season 7 to find it because I can't even really remember the quote too much. I just know Buffy said something to the effect of she loved Angel in a way beyond everyone else she's ever been with. Could anyoe tell me the exact quote and episode?

2. I read on another site that Angel hoped to get with Buffy if the Prophecy turned out to be true and he became human. Now I always kinda guessed/hoped that would be the case but I can't recall if it's ever said in the show.
So...is it?

From Selfless: “I killed Angel. Do you even remember that? I would have given up everything I had to be with--… I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this life, and I put a sword through his heart because I had to.”

I'm not sure if Angel ever said outright that if he Shanshued he hoped to get back with Buffy. After the events of IWRY (which happened earlier in that same season 1), we kind of assume that he probably would. Then again, he was human in IWRY, and chose to give that back. Somebody can (& will) correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for answering my first question.

To my knowledge that has never been officially stated. That's more a fan interpretation I would say. I surely can't recall it appearing anywhere in the show at least.

When Angel did become again he chose to be with Buffy again but once he found out that being with her meant that she would die sooner (she would be focusing of protecting him since he was now human and lost his super strength and fighting skills, which was dangerous for her) then he decided to become a vampire again. I always took that as meaning that if things were ideal he would be with Buffy again, but he wasn't going take that risk if it put her in danger or meant she wouldn't live as long.
