Hey guys I'm new here. I just watched all of season seven and one thing I was wondering about was the part where Buffy realizes who she is dealing with (The First) and says she has met it before in a hole at some christmas tree place. I remember an episode that had something to do with that but can't remember nothing about it. If somebody remembers what season that was in or what happened I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Season Three- Amends.
Basically The First manifests itself as some of Angel's victims, such as Jenny Calender and older ones (from like 100 years ago) and tries to make Angel kill itself. Buffy catches on where it is (from the dead xmas trees she remembers seeing, she is given a cryptic clue that nothing grows above the evil or below it) so she goes there. It says "rarh im so evil, you don't know what you're messing with" and Buffy is as usually nonchalant about it.
The First is next seen in season seven.
