A Day Without Mods

So I don't know if anyone noticed, but yesterday (Wednesday) was a day off for the mods, where they weren't allowed to come onto the boards at all.

They donate so much of their time, and all they get is more work in return (😉) so I wanted to give them their lives back for a day. 😀

Thank you guys, for everything you do for me. This site wouldn't and couldn't be what it is without you all.

Wow, I didn't notice. Of course, I was busy. . . . I think it says something that you all keep us so in line that the Boards don't go nutso when you leave for 24 hours. 😀

I wish I could turn back time and take full advantage! Next time give us a bit of warning so we can create a nice mess for them to mop up upon their return.

It was actually kinda hard to stay away, I had to consciously remind myself to not click on BB. I kept finding my curser wandering over the link, it's like second nature for me to go on here as soon as I get on a computer.

I did however get mountains of work done for my finals 😀 I stayed in the library till 11:45 last, I didn't even know I was capable of doing that lol

I have to say though I looked forward to getting back on BB and seeing what I had missed. Sure we have alot of work to do here but I have to say I love working on these boards. So thank you Buffy for giving us these wonderful Boards🙂

I misread that and though you were talking about the mods for a minute!

It was hard to stay away, I nearly logged on in the morning forgetting.

As Buffy said the staff here donate their time and do an excellent job so this was a little 'time off for good behaviour'.

Well, I actually totally forgot and logged on in the evening after work. Then it hit me, oh yeah, not supposed to be on! I hit the x in the corner of mozilla so fast, I think my computer was confused!

I can relate with what Kean said. I can't say how many times I was hovering over the link just because I'm so used to clicking on it, the first time I came on the net I had to close my browser because I hit the link without thinking :silly:

Nothing spactacular happened on my end, although I did finish a few co-op related lesson plans and stuff that I've really needed to focus on for a while, which was a bonus. Spent a little time with my special someone 🙂

As nice of a day as it was though, there's no complaints about coming back. We've got some great boards with great members here, it's a real pleasure to be a part of it all. As cheesey as I know that sounds!
