The A&E channel is going to be airing this, first, on *Wednesday May 14th 8pm ET*... and again on *Thursday May 15th 12am ET.* Not sure about anybody else, but A&E is channel 46 for me. I don't think this airs in the UK either, but I could be wrong.

TvGuide.com's description:
The making of the TV series, a cult favorite, is recalled by creator Joss Whedon, who wanted Buffy "to be an icon, not just a TV show."
"I'd rather have a show that a hundred people need to see than a thousand people like to see," explains Whedon, who also wrote the 1992 film that inspired the series. "I want Buffy to live in people's imagination." Actually, it will live there and in syndication after May 20, when the spooky comedy-drama that debuted in 1997 and spawned an Angel spinoff airs its final episode. The hour includes clips of favorite moments, such as those from the musical episode, season finales and Buffy's romance with Angel. Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz are also interviewed.

I think anybody who sees this is really going to like it. Set your VCRs, guys, set your VCRs...

Thanks a ton! I can't wait to see this, because Buffy is a phenomenon, not just a show.

I'd like to see what conclusions the documentary people draw.

isn't it weird that A&E is doing a show like this...if buffy is so popular...why aren't people watching...its finally getting good...

or maybe because it's ending... they want to give it credit for the long run it's had and the interesting approaches to their fans
