I found this by accident on an LJ looking for some decent Bangel fic. It was posted when the show ended so I thought it would be interesting for us take ourselves back to when Buffy, and later, Angel ended and answer these questions for each show.

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Buffy, it has always been about Buffy for me. Her story was what brought me back every week and essentially what keeps me hooked even now. The girl just fascinates me.
Angel: Angel, (I can hear the chorus of exasperated sighs echo around BB even as I type lol) but seriously as far as characters go I don't think there is anyone more layered than Angel. I just want to get inside his head, and what intrigues me even more is that the depths of Angel were barely even scratched in the eight years he was on our screens.

One Line You Love
Buffy:"I'm Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and you are?"
Angel:"They talk about me in the chatty rooms?"

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy:I Only Have Eyes for You, Amends and Selfless
Angel: City Of, I Will Remember You and Spin The Bottle.

Favorite Villain
Angelus:What a cruel mother chucker. I have never been so invested in a Big Bad and their effect than I was with Angelus. How do you hate and love the guy that is destroying your favourite character? Easy...two words...leather pants😀
Angel: Darla, the effect she had on Angel in season two really opened Angel up to the viewer, more than we had ever seen him before...plus she was the catalyst for some of the best episodes of the entire series.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: Ballad for Dead Friends By Dasboard Prophets (The Harvest)
Angel:L.A. Song-Christian Kane (I can't remember the ep name)

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season two, it was just so brilliant plot and arc wise. I have never been so involved in a season of television in my life.
Angel: Season two, seriously? Ep for ep this season is full of epic win! I mean I genuinely gasped when Dru came into that motel room and turned Darla (again) right in front of Angel. Pylea! How Cordy, Wes and Gunn bonded and possibly my favourite moment of the entire series "It's Buffy".

Scariest Episode
Buffy: I don't particularly find anything scary but "Hush" creeped me out...alot!
Angel: I can't nail a particular episode but anything to do with Cordy/Connor and Jasmine freaked me out for several reasons.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy:Toss up between Buffy and Angel in his apartment at the start of "Surprise" or their shared dream in "Amends".
Angel:Buffy and Angel's last kiss in "I Will Remember You"...the way they clung on to each other for dear life. If you look up bittersweet in the dictionary I'm fairly sure you will find that scene as the definition.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Will if ya don't know by now lol. Bangel is like a character of it's own for me. It's the reason I fell for the show in the first place. Thundering sop that I am
Angel:Angel annd Cordy before the writers went insane and had them making cum-shuk-me eyes at each other. I especially love them in season 3 episode 1.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: The Library, I really missed it after she blew it up...it seemed wrong somehow that it wasn't there anymore. Also the old Bronze...I hated the re-vamped version (no pun intended).
Angel: The Hyperion...I looooved that place. It was just so Angel and I also liked his first apartment.

E
Edmund Blackadder
I see Angel as omni-sexual, he's just settled into lady parts for now. I'm sure the right demon man sould have him 'swinging' from the rafters!
B
Big Damn Hero
I ended up just stealing half of what you wrote because it was the same as what I thought. Full credit given though ;)
B
Buff4ever
Ooh!!! You remind me too much of myself.
Ohhh see I thought this was gonna be your immediate thoughts.

Mine for NFA was based on not listening properly.
When Angel said 'I kinda wanna slay the dragon' I heard 'I kinda wanna lay the dragon' and I thought 'What, again. But you did that in season 2 Buffy!'

Your thread I will read and do properly shortly🙂

Kean
LOL...very similar to often misheard and debated question Doyle posed to Angel at the end of City Of...losts of people seemed to think he said "You gay?" instead of "You game?"
Neat thread, Kean!

It wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting a thread on your thoughts after each season finale, not the series finales. Still interesting, though.

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Giles, and not just 'cuz he's easy on the eyes. I really like the relationships that he forms with the Scoobies. I love that he stands in as a father figure for Buffy and the gang. I love that he has a dark past of his own. I started a much more detailed thread in the Giles/ASH forum on why Giles is the best guy in the Buffyverse, so I'll just direct you to that before I babble for ten pages.
Angel: Wesley. I loved his character growth. After the council dumped him and he went rogue, Wes had to learn how to stand on his own two feet without being directed by a nice, structured little flow-chart backed by centuries of tradition. He learned to think outside the box and to do what's right -- really right, not just what someone tells you to do. It took awhile, but by the end of AtS, I really feel that Wes had become his own man, not just the privileged, bumbling Watcher's Council drone we saw in BtVS.

One Line You Love
Buffy:Boy:"But you're just a girl." Buffy: "That's what I keep saying." (from the beginning of The Gift).
Angel: Office Worker: "There's never enough TONER!"

Favorite Three Episodes:
Buffy: Passion, Hush, and The Body
Angel: Five by Five, Spin The Bottle, and Destiny.

Favorite Villain:
Buffy: The mayor. Now, that guy was fun to watch! I loved the way his relationship with Faith provided a dark foil to Buffy's relationship with Giles while simultaneously humanizing that season's bad guys. The mayor was a villain whom I loved. I didn't just love to hate him; I actually just plain loved him. I felt thoroughly entertained every time he was onscreen (except when he turned into a giant, poorly rendered CGI snake).
Angel: Jasmine. I didn't like the way she came about, but I really liked her. I could see the reasoning behind her actions and manipulations. I even thought that she might actually be sincere in her intentions. Also, Gina Torres did an excellent job in that role. Every time she came onscreen as Jasmine, she exuded grace, confidence, and not a little bit of awesomeness. I found myself smiling like an idiot and feeling uplifted by her presence which, hey, was kind of the goal. That made her that much more compelling as a villain for me. Gina Torres and the writers made me feel what the characters felt, albeit to a far lesser extent (I was not ready to fall on my knees in worship or to let Gina Torres devour me).

Favorite Song Used in a Scene:
Umm, I'll pass on this one. I seldom remember the music from a scene.

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season 6. I really like the idea of the Scoobies being their own big bads.
Angel: Season 2. I feel like we got to know Angel as a character so much better this season!

Scariest Episode
Buffy: The Gift! I couldn't believe they killed off the main character! I was terrified that BtVS had just totally jumped the shark.
Angel:Habeus Corpses. Zombies freak me out.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: I don't know if this counts as an "interlude" or not, but I really liked the scene in which Oz described what he imagined his first kiss with Willow would be like and then refused to kiss her on the grounds that when he first kissed her, he wanted her to be kissing him. That was adorable.
Angel: Any Gunn and Fred moment. I loved them together.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: As everyone knows, I really like the Giles/Buffy father/daughter relationship. In general, though, I love the dynamic between all of the core four Scoobies. They're like a family, and I love that.
Angel: angel and Spike! They crack me up! I want to lock them in a room and let them argue, nit-pick, annoy, and occasionally devolve into violence whilst not-so-secretly loving and respecting one another like brothers forever and ever.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Buffy's house. It just seemed so nice and homey.
Angel: The Hyperion, although I have to say that the WWII submarine set was pretty darn cool.

Consider the thread title changed...it was all misleady lol
Ive only included Buffy. Mainly because i think i would do a disservice to Angel by trying to remember stuff, ive seen all of angel, and most of it twice but I never really connected with it the way I connected with Buffy...so...

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Buffy, shes such a hero and her fight is what makes the series so amazing. The trials she has faced are monumental in comparison to every other character.

She is THE hero to end all heroes.

Shes also very pretty. 😛

One Line You Love
Buffy:Although made a little less cool but the numerous speeches...it has to be this: "I'm beyond tired. I'm beyond scared. I'm standing on the mouth of hell, and it's going to swallow me whole. And it'll choke on me. We're not ready? They're not ready. They think we're gonna wait for the end to come, like we always do. I'm done waiting. They want an apocalypse? Oh, we'll give 'em one. Anyone else who wants to run... do it now. Because we just became an army. We just declared war. From now on we won't just face our worst fears, we will seek them out. We will find them and cut out their hearts one by one until the First shows itself for what it really is. And I'll kill it myself. There's only one thing on this earth more powerful than evil. And that's us. Any questions?"

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy:Something Blue, Gift, Dopplegangland

Favorite Villain
Spike and Dru:Dang thats hard. I chose Spike & Dru mainly cause they were awesome together. I actually wanted them to succeed in a way. And then Spike helping Buffy not destroy the McHuman world...brilliant!

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: Blue, Conversations with Dead people. THat song MADE that episode.

Favorite Season
Buffy: I suppose S6, though I really do enjoy every season on its own merits. I think I look farward to spuffy the most. S1 is probably my least, it just feels old.

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Hush...creepy ness

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy:Buffy as she kissed Spike after he didnt tell on her and Dawn to Glory. Ohh, and the spuffy balcony scene...and the outside the DMeat Palace... ohh and the under the rugs...ohh and the invisable sex... and the missing the bed sex....and....

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Spike and Jonathans (ok probably not THE favorite of mine) but it was a funny one to watch. Spike actually was very funerable with Jonathan which was awesome. Though in fairness the Spuffy relationship was just so deep and..adult, that I enjoyed seeing it the most.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Yea the old HS had much more charm than the new one, the new one felt too surgical.

Oooh very cool find, I don't know who to pick but very cool! 😀

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Tara. I love all of the characters, but in her short time on the show her character developed so much from the shy, stuttering teen we saw in "Hush". She really learned to stand her ground, and I think that had she been kept alive for the final season we could have seen awesome things from her.
Angel: I really, really want to say Angel, but I have to give this one to Spike. Overall I enjoyed his character a lot more on ATS than on Buffy, especially in Season 5. He was the "nice guy" soulful Spike from the end of BTVS, but without all the angsty lovesick stuff attatched (or you know, the crazy part). They almost seemed to blend the character he ended up being on BTVS with the one he started out as. He was a lot more of a "total jerk-- but with a big heart" kind of guy on Angel. And funny? No character on ATS had me laughing more!

One Line You Love
Buffy:"I'd like to test that theory" - Giles (Two to Go)
Angel:"Can you fly?" - Angel (City Of...)

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: The Body, Selfless, Grave (with an honourable mention to The Prom/ Graduation Day 😉)
Angel: I Will Remember You, Power Play, Smile Time

Favorite Villain
Buffy: Probably Dark Willow. I never would have thought Alyson Hannigan to be able to pull off that role as well as she did. And evil or not, she kicked some major butt!
Angel: Angelus. I like that we got to see more of him in ATS, it's nice to see Angel's much talked about alter-ego in action every now and again 😀

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: "Close Your Eyes" (the Buffy/Angel Theme Song), they used it a lot, but using it in "Becoming" turned out to be very touching.
Angel: None come to mind actually. Can I say "We are the Champions" from the Gang's kareoke? :silly:

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season Three, the beginning of the gang growing up (and very, VERY Bangel-y 🙂)
Angel: Season Five. I definitely think the show could have gone on longer, so some of the storylines seemed a little rushed. But otherwise I thought it was the most entertaining of the bunch, for me.

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Killed By Death: Just creepy!!!
Angel: Again, none come to mind 🙁

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: I don't know if it counts, but Angel showing up at Buffy's prom. I was really shocked, and it was a very nice gesture on his part. I think that was what made the fans able to forgive Angel for breaking up with our beloved heroine 😉
Angel: Buffy and Angel in IWRY. (Like you all expected me to say ANYTHING else! It was gold!)

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: The Bangel romance and the Buffy/Xander Friendship 🙂
Angel: The Bangel romance and the Angel/Spike... hate?

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Probably Buffy's House. I loved Sunnydale High but the Summers' residence didn't really change much. It was like an old friend by the end of the show.
Angel: I also have to go with the Hyperion. A lot happened there, and it wasn't the type of setting you'd usually see on that type of television show!

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy:Tara.
Angel: Fred

One Line You Love
Buffy:"A vampire with a soul? How lame is that?"
Angel:"I AM listening. With beer."

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy:"Hush" "Faith, Hope, and Trick" and "Superstar"
Angel:"Five By Five" "Salvage" and "Release"

Favorite Villain
Buffy:Mayor Wilkins
Angel: Evil Cordy

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: "Walk Through The Fire/Let Me Rest In Peace" (Sorry, I don't know any of the show's guest singers)
Angel:Angel's rendition of "Mandy"

Favorite Season
Buffy:A tossup between 5 and 7
Angel: 4

Scariest Episode
Buffy:
Angel:

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy:Xander and Cordelia
Angel:Wesley and Lilah

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy:Giles and Jenny
Angel:Angel and Faith

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy:Spike's crypt
Angel:The Hyperion Hotel

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Willow. Even though I have deep love for so many other characters in the Buffyverse (Spike, Giles, Xander, Tara, Wesley, Faith, Fred...the list goes on), in the end, my "favorite character" vote always goes to Willow. Aside from the obvious fact that she's cute and funny as can be, she's just so developed, layered, and interesting to watch.
Angel: Wesley. I was tempted to vote for Fred or Illyria, but my vote had to go to Wes in the end. I suppose I have a thing for characters who developed a lot over the course of the show, but Wes is really just an incredible character who grew more and more interesting as the show progressed. It's hard to believe I was hating his guts when he first showed up in season 3 of Buffy and then cried my eyes out when he died in Not Fade Away. And it certainly doesn't hurt that he's very easy on the eyes.

One Line You Love
Buffy: "Death is your art. You make it with your hands, day after day. That final gasp. That look of peace. Part of you is desperate to know...what's it like? Where does it lead you? And now, you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw, or the kicks you didn't land. She merely wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you." - Spike, Fool for Love. That line just gives me chills every time I hear it.
Angel: Illyria: "Is there anything in this life but grief?" Wesley: "There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy, that your life will lead you to some joy. That after everything, you can still be surprised." Illyria: "Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?" - Shells. I love the semi-twisted Wesley/Illyria "friendship," and this quote is really beautiful.

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: The Gift, Fool for Love, Restless. I originally had OMWF, The Body, and Restless, but I felt like such a cop-out for only including the "special" episodes.
Angel: Sanctuary, A Hole in the World, Shells. I bet you can't guess what my favorite Angel arc is. 😉

Favorite Villain
Buffy: Wow, there were a lot of really great villains on Buffy...to be honest, the only ones I'm NOT tempted to vote for are the Master, Adam, and the First. But in the end, my vote goes to the Mayor. He was just so well-acted and was, in a way, the most humanized villain the show ever had. Plus, his relationship with Faith and the way it paralleled the Buffy/Giles relationship was so interesting.
Angel: Lilah. Really, she was one of the only human character on either show who was evil throughout and never even considered seeking redemption (the only other character like that was Warren, and I have a feeling even he would have tried to redeem himself if he hadn't been, y'know, flayed alive). She was a bitch, through and through, and how can you not love that?

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: I'm tempted to go with The Final Fight or some song that wasn't part of the score (like Blue in CWDP), but I'm gonna go with a really obscure one. I LOVE Tai Chi by Christophe Beck (it was used in Band Candy and Revelations). I always have to watch the scenes of Buffy and Angel doing tai chi twice because I love the score so much.
Angel: I don't know the Angel score as well as the Buffy one, so I'll just go with L.A. Song by Christian Kane. I was tempted to say Everybody Have Fun Tonight as sung by Angel, but I decided it would be too popular.

Favorite Season
Buffy: Ugh, this is the hardest question for me. I'm so torn between seasons 3 and 5...they both had amazing main arcs and were heavy on great episodes and very light on bad ones. GRRRRRR...okay, I'll just go with...season 5. Yeah, okay, I'm gonna regret that as soon as I post this.
Angel: Oh, that's EASY! Season 5 was my favorite by a mile and a half.

Scariest Episode
Buffy: I didn't find episodes particularly scary, but I jumped out of my seat and hit my head on the ceiling when I first watched Hush and the Gentlemen popped up in the window. So I'll go with Hush.
Angel: Again, none of them were all that scary, but Hell Bound did creep me out a little.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: Okay, I'm tempted to just list a bunch of Buffy/Spike sex scenes, since they never ceased to get me all hot and bothered. But I'll go with a more genuinely romantic moment and go with the throwaway Willow/Tara kiss in The Body. It was their first onscreen kiss, but it seemed so natural that you didn't even think about it.
Angel: Fred and Wesley's scenes together in A Hole in the World. I well up just thinking about them.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Romance-wise, Willow/Tara. Friendship-wise, the whole Buffy-Willow-Xander dynamic.
Angel: Romance-wise, Fred/Wesley, friendship-wise, Wesley/Illyria.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: I was going to say the library, but when I thought about it, I had to go with Buffy's house. Really, when I see it, I feel like I actually lived there (as pathetic/weird as that may sound).
Angel: The Hyperion hotel. I guess it's just because it was the place they spent the most time.

S
Silum
oh definately, there are tons of Fool for Love quotes that i could pick
Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.

One Line You Love
Buffy: "Satan is a little man"

Buffy: Andrew, if he counts as a villian ha. Or Caleb.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene

Favorite Season
Buffy: 4

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Um.. Whats My Line pt 2 =/

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: Buffy & Spike in Smashed

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy:Um.. probably Buffy and Spike

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Hm..Spikes crypt or Buffys house.

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: God, I feel like I should name another character to avoid the obvious. But I won't! Faith has always been my favorite character, however, before her Willow had been muh fave. 🙂

One Line You Love
Buffy: Well, it's sorta a two-line compilation.
Buffy: "Will, back off before someone gets hurt.."
Willow: "How about I back off right after?"

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: Empty Places, Grave, and The Gift.

Favorite Villain
Evil Willow: Come on, she was unstoppable and lets not forget... unstoppable! But, I would have loved to see her in that state interacting with Faith. Can you imagine it? Quote-maniac. Put 'em up! PUT 'EM UP!

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: I love how the Buffy/Angel theme song was used during the scene where Buffy totally jacked up Angel. Awesome.

Favorite Season
Buffy: Thought there was some Faith lacking, I'll have to say season five. Just because of Glory her suspense-causing invulnerability thingy.

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Hush, was muh very first episode I ever sawded. :'(

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: Haha, the one with Faith and Xander. Hilarious, but I don't like how she screwed him. No no. Oh yeah, and Smashed. With that one Spuffy scene.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Tillow, it was true love. Not exactly a happy ending, but I love tragedies.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Definitely Sunnydale High, man I miss it so. It is the East, and the Library is the sun!

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Xander. He just grew so much from first season to last, always had me laughing out loud, truly cared for those around him and was brave in even his most fragile moments.
Angel: Gunn. Such an underrated character and i wish they did more with him. The guy was strong on the outside, insecure on the inside, which was interesting. brought attitude to the show (before Wes got all angry and emo). Love him.

One Line You Love
Buffy:"That's it, im going to put a collar with a little bell on that guy." (always makes me laugh
Angel:"Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh... I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to"”" -Spike (bwahaha SO great)

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy:The Wish, The Pack, Normal Again
Angel: I Will Remember You, Lineage, The Magic Bullet

Favorite Villain

Buffy: The Mayor. Creepy, intelligent, and yet, so endearing in certain ways. i loved him!
Angel: Jasmine. Talk about creepy, when you really think about how people just fell at her feet.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: Final Fight- the score during the final battle in Chosen. I'm a big "score" person with movies and t.v. so thats what im going with.
Angel:The Birth of Angelus. Great score.

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season 3.
Angel: i think it just might be 5. idunno.

Scariest Episode
Buffy:The body, if that makes sense. its just so tense.
Angel: The Magic Bullet.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy:Oz and Willow in Graduation day (don't remember if its part 1 or 2, think its 2).
Angel:Wesley and Fred when they finally acknowledged feelings and kissed in season 5.. .dunno episode.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):

Buffy: well of any kind? can i say giles and buffy? such a wonderful relationship they had.
Angel:Gunn and Wesley, before they were all, fighting over Fred.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Def the Bronze, in any incarnation.
Angel: Cordy's haunted apartment. it was such an AWESOME place i want a place like that.

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Tara. Honestly, how you anyone not like her?
Angel: Gunn. His relationship with Fred was, IMOH, one of the best things about the show and he was really a tough-looking guy who was a softie and a huggable teddy bear inside.

One Line You Love
Buffy:"I, Anya, want to marry you, Xander, because I love you and I'll always love you. And before I knew you, I was like a completely different person. Not even a person, really. And I had seen what love could do to people, and it was hurt and sadness. Alone was better. And the, suddenly there was you, and... you knew me. You saw me, and it was this... thing. You make me feel safe and warm. So, I get it now. I finally get love, Xander. I really do."
Angel:"All I ask is one last kiss."
(Okay, the Buffy one isn't a line, but that entire speech just makes me so proud.)

Favorite Three Episodes

Buffy: Restless, Hush, Innocence
Angel: Waiting in the Wings, Spin the Bottle, Orpheus

Favorite Villain
Buffy: The Mayor. His relationship with Faith made me cry.
Angel: Darla, she was awesome and really redeemed herself.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene

Buffy: "Blue," by Angie Hart ("Conversations With Dead People")
Angel: "A Place Called Home," by Kim Richey ("Shells")

Favorite Season

Buffy: Season five. We have Dawn this season and I really liked her addition to the cast.
Angel: Season three. It was brilliant.

Scariest Episode

Buffy: "Hush." That was so creepy!
Angel: Anything with Connor/Cordelia together. That weirded me out.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy
: Willow and Tara dancing at the end of "Family."
Angel: Fred and Gunn's kiss.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy
: Tillow. It was so good to watch them grow.
Angel:A tie between Angel/Cordy and Fred/Gunn.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most

Buffy: The Library!
Angel: The Hyperion hotel.

Name Your Favorite Character Ever.
Buffy: Spike. He was always badass and he was always whipped (despite what anyone thinks about him after season 5 😛). Whether his actions lead to the outcomes he thought they might, he had the balls to follow through. And wore his heart on his sleeve. I always liked that about him.
Angel: Wesley. I love how he grew, how he cared, how he completely screwed up and how he tried to fix it. I loved watching him fall in love and loved watching him be happy and completely miserable.

One Line You Love
Buffy: If you hurt her, I will beat you to death with a shovel. A vague disclaimer is nobody's friend. Have fun! (gotta love Willow)
Angel:How can I thank you, you mysterious black-clad hunk of a night thing?
No need, little lady, your tears of gratitude are enough for me. You see, I was once a badass vampire, but love and a pesky curse defanged me. And now, I'm just a big, fluffy puppy with bad teeth. No, not the hair. Never the hair.
But there must be some way I can show my appreciation?
No, helping those in need's my job, and workin' up a load of sexual tension and prancing away like a magnificent poof is truly thanks enough.
I understand. I have a nephew who's gay, so...
Say no more. Evil's still afoot. And I'm almost out of that nancy-boy hair-gel I like so much. Quickly, to the Angel-mobile, away!

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: Becoming, Band Candy, The Body
Angel: I Will Remember You, Smile Time, Billy

Favorite Villain
Buffy: Angelus, much with the evil.
Angel: I never really like the villans in Angel much.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: Goodbye to you - Michelle Branch in Tabula Rasa, so sad.
Angel: Mandy - Barry Manilow as sung by Angel.....what? 😛

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season 3
Angel: Season 1

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Hush, definitely
Angel: Billy (Psycho Wes!)

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: Willow and Oz after they....you know 😉... I loved seeing Willow all sexually aware of his touch...does that make me weird? 😛
Angel: Buffy and Angel. Food. I Will Remember You (sw)

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: The core 4.
Angel:Either Wesley and Fred or Angel and Spike.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Joining the Library bandwagon
Angel: Angel's first flat in LA

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy:
I'm torn between Giles in the earlier Series, and Anya in the later ones. Seeing as I only like them in half each that counts as one, doesn't it?
Angel: Wes (with close second to Cordy). I just love the way their character's develop, and Wes/Lilah's sex scens = YUM. I'd give Cordy the title if it wasn't for the stupid Jasmine arc.

One Line You Love
Buffy: "It's a total lack of control. And not in the wholesome "my girlfriend has a pierced tounge" way.
Angel: "They talk about me in the chatty rooms?"

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: Chosen; Welcome to the Hellmouth; Tabula Rasa
Angel: You're welcome; Life of the Party; Lullabye

Favorite Villain
Buffy:Angelus:What a cruel mother chucker. I have never been so invested in a Big Bad and their effect than I was with Angelus. How do you hate and love the guy that is destroying your favourite character? Easy...two words...leather pants.
Angel: Darla, the effect she had on Angel in season two really opened Angel up to the viewer, more than we had ever seen him before...plus she was the catalyst for some of the best episodes of the entire series.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: No idea.
Angel: I don't know what it's called, but the song that's playing in S1E2 Lonely Hearts, while the demon is all sex with lots of people.

Favorite Season
Buffy:
Season two for the plot, season six for the Spuffy scenes. HOT MUCH?!
(sorry Kean, nicked your words again.)

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Hush, definatly.
Angel: I have to say Sleep Tight/Forgiving. Not scary in the "hide behind the cushion" way, but scary in seeing what Angel was prepared to do to try to get Connor back.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy:Willow and Oz, and then Willow and Tara.
Angel:Buffy and Angel's last kiss in "I Will Remember You"...the way they clung on to each other for dear life. If you look up bittersweet in the dictionary I'm fairly sure you will find that scene as the definition.
(Kean, nicked your words again!)

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy:
Anya/Xander
Angel: Angel and Cordy, while they were still friends/before all that kyrumption crap.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Buffy's house.
Angel: The Hyperion.

Kean
Kean
You little thief! lol
Favourite Character
Buffy: Anya because she is misunderstood , also childlike and sometimes she reminded me of me but without being greedy for the money
Angel: Fred because she is clever, sweet and I miss her.

One Line You Love
Buffy:Giles: I don't like this feeling. This sort of mindless need to destroy. This anger, rage.
Angel:Fred : Wesley, I am totally drunk-faced.

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy:Restless ,Lies my parents told me,Band Candy
Angel: The Girl In Question,Waiting in the wings,Spin the Bottle

Favorite Villain,
Buffy Now this one is a hard one because I love them all but The Mayor because hes so unlikey to be evil because he says Gee and Gosh all quite funny !
Angel: Lilah she was just such a bitch but she was funny! She was so tough !
Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: The Prom- Wild Horses - The Sundays
Angel: Darla - Ill Wind (can't remember ep)

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season six because its so bleak
Angel: Season 2 Its just has too many great episodes

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Normal again , just makes me shiver
Angel: The Magic Bullet

Best Romantic Interlude...
Buffy:Anya and Giles thinking they are married in Tabula Rasa
Angel:Fred and Wesley get together in smile time

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Anya and Xander
Angel:Wes and Fred

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Giles house
Angel: The Hyperion

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: While Buffy has always been my favorite main character, my favorite character over all will always be Joyce. I can't even tell you why really. I just liked her complete normalcy amongst all the craziness. A key and absolute brilliant example of this was in Becoming when it was just her and Spike sitting awkwardly in the living room and despite everything she had found out in the past five minutes the question she chooses to ask is 'Do you live here in town?'. Plus she had the same humor as Giles in that her jokes/sarcasm tended to go over the heads of the main characters. And she hit Spike with an axe.
Angel: Fred. So sweet,so cute and innocent and then she turn around and kick ass more than anyone else. I just loved that Fred could go from timid to Aliens-esque Protagonist in a nano-second. And I loved the unexpected lines she'd come out with that could just make or break tension in a scene, haha. I loved the episode where she' has left with her parents but then realizes in the last minute about how her friends weren't safe from the demon, I was like 'Go Fred'. Her parents were pretty cool too...in a slightly unnerving way.

One Line You Love
Buffy: "Xander, don't speak Latin in front of the books"
Angel:"They talk about me in the chatty rooms?"

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy:Surprise/Innocence, Band Candy and The Gift.
Angel: I Will Remember You, Spin the Bottle, Hole in the World.

Favorite Villain
Buffy:Glory. A an evil hellbitch with style. The glamor model of hell gods. Need I say more? Plus I just loved her craziness. I would have loved Glory and Dru to have been in the same room at some point. Haha.
Angel: Drusilla. When she walked in and turned Darla just as Darla was happy and prepared to die a human she came in and just destroyed it all...I was just ripped by the scene. And she was a completely different evil with Darla than she was with Spike and I loved seeing that.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: I Wish We Never Met in...Consequences? It's only a small tiny scene but the music combined with the shot of Buffy thinking about helping Faith and Willow crying in the toilets...gets me all emotional. Haha.
Angel:A Place Called Home (?) by Kim Richie for the Fred Montage-esque scene after she has become Illyria.

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season two. This is classic Buffy for me. It was in the days of the high school, but had the darkness and complications of the later seasons like 6 and 5. And the great romantic in me just feeds off the Buffy/Angel and Buffy/Angelus story arc and the season had some of my favorite one-shots as well.
Angel: Season Five. Purely for the great on-screen antagonistic chemistry between Angel and Spike. The two played off of one another perfectly. And I love You're Welcome.

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Hush. I had just started college that year myself and so I was living in a dorm....I spent two weeks freaking out whenever anyone knocked on our door at night.
Angel: I can't really think of one to be honest....

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: When Xander confesses his love to Anya in Into the Woods, his words and her reaction are wonderful.
Angel:Buffy and Angel's last kiss in "I Will Remember You". I cry everytime I watch that, it's so full of emotion and heatbreak and it just seems to capture the essence of Bangel in one 60-second-slot.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: It's a toss-up between Buffy and Giles and Buffy and Joyce....but since there both parent-y themed I'll count them as one Buffy relationship. I loved that despite all the hell she went through, be it supernatural or natural, Buffy did get a family unit. (With Xander as the Uncle who sees the world through his job and must be shunned. 😉)
Angel:Lorne and Fred. A strange one to say I know, but you know Lorne adored Fred and the two were very close even if the show didn't explore it much beyond showing how depressed Lorne was after Fred's death.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: The Library. A little part of me died when they blew it up, haha. And when the new school opened and they were in the Principal's Office, even though I knew it was all different sets and what-not, I kept thinking "The library used to be there...in simpler times...ah grumble"
Angel: The Office in Season One. It was so down-and-outy and just seemed to fit them.

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Willow. I love her personality, her wit, her lovingness, and the way her character evolved over the course of the series. Plus, I have a crush on her. (Put me on a desert island with 20 straight women and one lesbian, and I'll fall in love with the lesbian. I guarantee it.)
Angel: Hard to say... Wesley, maybe.

One Line You Love
Buffy: Willow: "Well, when I'm with a boy I like, it's hard for me to say anything cool or witty or at all. I can usually make a few vowel sounds, and then I have to go away"
Angel: Angel: "I'm made of felt. And my nose comes off."

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: I'll probably change my mind before I even finish typing this, but: Hush, The Gift, Chosen
Angel: Dead End (Lindsey's "evil hand" scene is one of my favorite TV moments of all time), Through the Looking Glass, Smile Time

Favorite Villain
Buffy: Gotta go with Angelus. Nobody ever hurt Buffy more. Bastard.
Angel: Lindsey

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: "Chinese Burn" by Curve (Buffy & Faith dancing at the Bronze in "Bad Girls")
Angel: Uh... don't really know.

Favorite Season
Buffy: Two
Angel: Two

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Probably Chosen. It was the series finale and anyone could have died.
Angel: Soulless

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: Willow and Tara in "The Body"
Angel: Fred and Wes in the "Why can't I stay?" scene. :-(

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Willow/Tara
Angel: Fred/Wes

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: The Bronze
Angel: The Hyperion

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Giles. From being the stuffy Englishman that provided and was the subject of many funny one-liners, to his ever-increasing fatherly love for Buffy which always touched me and then questioning how much she needs him. Plus his singing is just...it gives me goose pimples!
Angel Doyle. He's just awesome. I love how he got under Angel's skin and how caring and genuine he was. So gutted he was only in for such a short time.

One Line You Love
Buffy 'You still my girl?' - 'Always' (I could probably think of a better one but this is first one that came into my head.
Angel Doyle: It's about reaching out to people. Showing them that there's love and hope still left in this world. Homeless person: Got any spare change? Doyle: Get a job you lazy sow.

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy Enemies, Prophecy Girl, Surprise/Innocence
Angel I Will Remember You, Hero, Are You Now or Have You Ever Been

Favorite Villain
Buffy Angelus - he was just so close to them, it made it so much more personal and therefore sadder for me.
Angel Probably Darla. She was so diverse when she went over to Angel and really got under Angel's skin.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy Blue (Conversations with Dead People) or Ballad for Dead Friends (The Harvest)
Angel Instrumental called Hero.

Favourite Season
Buffy Season 2 & 3. Seriously cannot choose. The characters started growing up and they all had different issues to deal, it became about the group, not just Buffy.
Angel Season 1 & 2. Just can't help it. Angel's development in these two seasons was awesome. Plus I think it got a bit weird after that!

Scariest Episode
Buffy Hush and Conversations with Dead People (the bit with Dawn is just awful!)
Angel Actually don't know!

Best Romantic Interlude
Buffy Either the scene in Bad Eggs with Angel and Buffy kissing in the cemetery or their conversation in Helpless.
Angel Doyle and Cordy 🙂

Favourite Relationship
Buffy Buffy and Angel 😀 but also Giles and Buffy.
Angel Angel and Doyle

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy The Library and The Bronze (1-3)
Angel The first office - mainly Angel's living area, it looked so kooky!

Im just going to do it on buffy since im still not that great on angel knowledge.

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy: Willow. Shes grown so much throughout the show and has always remained likable, witty, smart shes the whole package and a fascinating character to watch grow.

One Line You Love
Buffy: Cordelia. " tact just isnt saying true stuff, il pass"

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: The body, once more with feeling, new moon rising.

Favorite Villain
Buffy: Angelus he was so vicious and yet so interesting and incredibly smart he really got in your mind

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: its only love in touched

Favorite Season
Buffy: Two

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Hush hands down

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: Buffy and Angel on the hill in amends, heartbreaking so real and pure love.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Willow/Tara

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Spikes crypt and xanders basement its where the actions at lol

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Buffy:
Xander Harris. He was the reason I started watching the show, and without him, I wouldn't be here now. I connected with Xander from the very beginning, he's like me in so many ways, just exaggerated. He makes me laugh, makes me cry, and I love that so many of the big moments in the show are based around Xander.
Angel: Connor. Is anyone actually surprised by this? Lmao. I loved how complicated he was, how innoncent and dangerous, and confused, all at the same time. I really felt for him when he tried not to like Angel, because he remembered what Holtz had told him. His loyalty is something fierce, and I understood why he did what he did. He was a good person deep down, which he proved after the mind wipe. I'm glad they brought him back for the last episode. I would have hated for the show to end without Connor.

One Line You Love
Buffy: "I walk. I talk. I shop. I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out, and I don't sleep on a bed of bones. Now give me back my friends."
Angel: "You gotta do what you can to protect your family. I learnt that from my father."

Favorite Three Episodes
Buffy: Normal Again, The Wish, The Gify
Angel: Origins, You're Welcome, Orpheus

Favorite Villain
Buffy: Glory. She was the biggest threat to Buffy's world, the one enemy that actually managed to strip her of everything that made her who she is. Even Angelus couldn't do that. Glory was the one person who managed to hurt every single Scooby in one way or another, and she did it while looking damn fine in that red dress, lol. Glory also has the best entrance for me. Who woulda thought that little tiny girl was causing all that violence?
Angel: Gotta be Angelus. He was so much darker on Angel than BtVS, and I loved all his scenes with his friends. The mind walk with Faith was one of the greatest Angel moments.

Favorite Song Used in a Scene
Buffy: Pavlov's Bell, Amy Mann
Angel:L.A. Song-Christian Kane 'Dead End'

Favorite Season
Buffy: Season six. I love this season purely because this is the season that everyone was forced to grow up. Not for the Spuffy, lol. Everyone had tough choices to make, and not all of them chose wisely.
Angel: Season four. Yep, four. I loved the Evil!Cordy arc, and the Faith arc, and how everything played out over the course of two or three weeks, as opposed to 8 months like the other seasons. Ok, so the Cordy/Connor stuff squicked me, but I just don't think about it, lol.

Scariest Episode
Buffy: Conversations with Dead People, just the scenes with Dawn before her 'mom' appeared.
Angel: Hellbound. the ghosts popping up and the guy sawing off his own fingers was just too much, lol.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
Buffy: I've got two I just can't choose between . First, when Buffy asks Spike to stay with her in 'Touched' and they just sleep in each others arms. And second, when Xander tells Anya how much he loves her in 'Into the Woods' it's a beautiful scene.
Angel: The last scene in ''You're Welcome' when Cordy runs back to have that last kiss with Angel, then the phone rings. The smile on her face as he goes to answer, and the utter devestation on Angel's when he realizes she's gone, it breaks my heart everytime.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):
Buffy: Duh, Spuffy, lol. Ever since S4, I thought they were good for each other. If Joss had been sane and played it out right, they might have been a great couple, solid and able to depend on each other.
Angel: Angel and Cordelia. Not just when they were falling for each other, but since the very beginning. They were each other's best friend, the person they could count on for anything. It's no wonder they fell in love. I just wish sometimes that we could have explored that relationship a lot more.

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
Buffy: Buffy's living room. It didn't change for the entire show, and it was where everyone seemed at home, you could set any Buffy character on that couch and they wouldn't look out of place. Everytime I read a fanfic set after S7, and it mentions Buffy's living room, I have to keep reminding myself that it's not the same as the show.
Angel: The Hyperion. It's such a typical Angel place. Big and beautiful, like his mansion on Crawford Street.

Hmm, interesting thread! I will only answer the questions for BtVS, since I haven't seen much of AtS, yet. Soo, here we go:

Name Your Favorite Character Ever. Yes. You Can Only Pick One.
Oooh, difficultness! I'm tied between Spike and Buffy, but I will choose Spike. They're both great, they've both been through so much, both of them have had some serious demons to fight (externally and internally), they're both funny, they're both played by great actors. It's just that, you know, Spike has the added hottness factor, which Buffy also has, but just not for me ^^

One Line You Love
Again! The dillemas! I'd love to go for a funny quote from Spike, or Giles, or Anya, or whoever, or a mysterious Dru line, but I agree with Crazy Flakes above, Spike's 'Death is your gift'-speech, is probably my favourite line(s) in the show. It's beautiful and dark and it somehow captures a lot of what I like about the show, and Spike in particular:
"Death is your art.

Favorite Three Episodes
Passion, Fool for Love, OMWF (in no particular order, and there are more than those three)

Favorite Villain
The Fanged, well, Three (ie Angelus, Spike and Dru)

Favorite Song Used in a Scene

I don't know much about the music in the series, but I really liked how well the song from Michelle Branch at the end of Tabula Rasa fitted the whole scene (what's the song called again?)

Favorite Season
Season 6, I guess. Altough the episodes themselves don't really seem to stand out, and it seems to lack a proper Big Bad, it was much more personal than all the other seasons, more personal and emotional. Willow's decline (if you can call it that) was amazing and painful to watch. And of course, the Spuffyness of it all 🙂

Scariest Episode
None of the episodes was really SCARY, but I only have eyes for you, Hush, and the Body were pretty freaky.

Best Romantic Interlude... (it can be tame or not )
When Buffy kissed Spike in Intervention (?), when he didn't tell Glory Dawn was the Key.

Favorite Relationship (of any kind):

As an actual, romantic relationship, I'd say Buffy and Spike, because of how it grew, and kept on growing, developing and blossoming untill the very end.
For other relationships: the Buffy-Giles relationship. I loved how he was like a father to her, and how much he cared for her, and vice versa

Set/Location You'll Miss the Most
The old library, and each of the many graveyards 😉

---------- Post added at 07:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 PM ----------

Oh, I just remembered another quote that I really love, I'm not sure if it's my favourite. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I think it depends on my mood, but it's really high on my favourite quotes-list:

"You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight and you'll shag and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. Love isn't brains, children, it's blood. Blood screaming inside you to work its will. I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it. " Spike - Lover's Walk

It's beautiful, true, and a nice kind of foreshadowing to the relationship between Buffy and Spike 🙂
