A little bit of James...

...Marsters goes a long way.

I've been seeing a lot of Mr. Marsters on TV and DVD this last year.

- On Torchwood he out-Britted the Brits on the show, pretty much the same kind of character as Spike on Buffy but gay.

- Barnabas Greeley on Caprica, still the rebel and still the best at it.

- The baddie on the Hawaii Five-O pilot who gets the show going by killing McGarretts dad thus creating a need for reckoning. He doesn't get a line here but does get to shoot the hero(not fatally) before ending up in Pearl Harbor...not sure if they found his body so he may be back.

- Bunch of roles on shows like Numb3rs and Lie to me.

I think I read somewhere here he's getting his own series, any details?

What we know about Three Inches (the show you're referring to) is that it's a pilot for Syfy that was shot earlier this year about a group of superheros each with one "smaller" power. That's about it. It sounds interesting and fun so *fingers crossed*

NEVER be shy of JM love!!!! I think my favorite non-Buffy or Angel show was definately Smallville. But no matter what I see him in, he'll always be Spike to me. 😛

Shy? Why? (hahahaha totally didn't mean to rhyme) I love telling others how much I love James. He's my wallpaper on my iPod and computer. I love it when I have my iPod out in class or on the bus and someone asks me who that is. The picture I've got of him on my iPod is quite dashing and I always make a point to use the word "dashing." I am always singing his music everywhere I go and I am always spouting little facts about him.

Conclusion: don't be shy about your love for James. He's a great guy, a fantastic artist on all accounts, and I can't think of any reason to be shy about your love for him.

Btw, if any of you want details about what he's doing in the future (or just want to hear his voice...😉), there was a Q&A with him at NYCC. He talked about Three Inches and Hawaii Five-O, so we'll maybe get to see him on our televisions again, lol. 😀

Look at the thread title, and where it leads. It just gives the impression, it's not what I actually think. Personally I don't see him on TV much at all because I don't watch the shows he keeps appearing in. I wouldn't have known he was on so often.

I'm 29, don't know how "aged" that makes me, and I will always love knowing I can tune in and get my fix of Mr. David Boreanaz every week, going on 12 years.

I got burned out on all the coroner/cop shows or I'd watch Bones every week, David Boreanaz is the best part of the show.

As for the title of the thread, it means exactly what it says, even with the small roles JM plays in a lot of these shows he shines. I'd love to see him in a series or a movie where he's the star.

I've only seen him in the season 2 opener of Torchwood, I've got to get the series.

I'm in a great mood today, I'm watching Saving Grace season 1 and Mr. Marsters was on an episode last night, guess it was from 2007, very good.

I also read up on Three Inches and it's brilliant. Mystery Men directed by Kinka Usher is one of my top 5 movies all time and now JM will be playing in a very similar series. Can't wait for this one.😀
