A mistake in Halloween?

[Buffy the Vampire Slayer]

For me i've always assumed that this guy was one of the victims of Ethan's costumes and not a real vampire. Therefore there is enough doubt as to whether all the vampire rules apply to him to mean that him entering Buffy's house becomes irrelevant. We can't say if a fake vamp would be refused entry, so therefore don't worry about it.

As for Angel being willing to stake him, i think it's fair to say that in all the chaos he may not have been fully up to speed with what was going on. Therefore he maybe was thinking this was an actual vamp. Hope for the guy's sake that there was anything wooden and pointy around in Joyce's kitchen or that is one costume that wouldn't have been used again next year! 😉

I think you're right, I do believe it was a fake vampire. If you keep a close eye on the part when they're all treat-or-treating before they turn, you can see the camera man had slowly moved past a normal guy wearing the same thing as the vampire in buffy's house before it focuses on Buffy with her group of treat-or-treaters so I imagine it's a fake vampire. As for Angel wanting to stake the vampire, he wasn't actually informed on what was going on... Cordy didn't really explain it to him so I figure he just thought it was your regular vampire.

That's really interesting. I wonder why. Maybe like somebody says, it might not be a real vampire, just somebody dressed up like a vampire for halloween.

probabley not a raeal vampire but someone who bought a costume from ethan hence they would not need to be invited in since technically they are not a real vampire
