A new show featuring Giles as the main character?

Well expect to the summary for the pilot, this is pretty much old news, but nevertheless, it sounds cool!
 
Don't worry though, a lot of people don't know, sure I know, but I have no life, so that's understandable!
 
I thought that Joss did CONFIRM that he was making "Ripper." --especially since "Firefly" went into the tanker. And I also thought that he said that Willow will make a guest shot, but he doesn't know about SMG.

nope their not sure whats going on, joss isnt making it because hes got buffy and angel and firefly, their looking to the bbc to do it, well apparently ash approached someone at the bbc
 
my friend said that it aired in the UK already and they canceld it after 10 episodes or something like that
but i dont belive her since i dident hear anything about it or see any pics
 
I live in the UK and I don't believe that the show has aired at all over here. Last I heard, ASH and Josh weren't even sure it would eventually get going as the BBC were keen to buy the rights (and as far as I know will still do that) but things kinda got forgotten in the grand scheme of things...as programes do on the BBC network.

Anyhoo haven't had chance to read through the link Osris posted but I did hear that the show starts filming in May of this year or something.

Plus I also heard that the show would probably only have less then ten parts to start with as it wouldn't be like a 'Giles show' as such but more about strange goings on like ghosts, etc around the country...well that was the original 'thing' I'm sure its changed and now I'm off to read the artical posted 😀
 
Let's hope it doesn't get stuck in development hell at the BBC.

I'd read that it was going to be a six-parter (which the TVtome link seems to confirm) and that some of the BtVS stars seemed very keen to appear alongside Tony Head in the UK. I'm pretty sure that's what the BBC Cult TV site said, but it's been a few months since I read that and there have been no recent updates.
