why do buffy and the vamps have the exact same fighting style(stricktly striking)

The fights are getting stale...perhaps its stale because they've been using the same moves for 7 years... I wish they would change the moves at least every season....



perhaps the fighting coreaographers could bring in some reality into their fights with a little submission, grappling, etc...

i think the fighting is excellent, but yes variety would be nice...but is that realistic? Buffy can't have new awesome moves every season..just doesnt make too much sense....but if there were to be a spinoff, they should get the guys who did the fighting for birds of prey cause they had some hot moves....a combo of that and the old buffy moves would make kickass fight scenes...

Well the vamps and demons could indeed at least all have different moves, and since Buffy trains, she could try to copy their moves, it would be cool indeed. But the big fighting scene with the Beast in Rain of Fire, had some kind of a different style!

the fighting in angel is superior to buffy...and at least people bleed massively when impaled

Well that too was fun for a change, but I ment really the style, it is indeed better in Angel ... I mean Wesley in slomo pulling out the guns, that was amazing!
