However, as I said... values and beliefs are sometimes mixed with the talent. To stick with the example of Lars Von Trier... He is (supposedly) talented at filmmaking, but you cannot claim that his personal beliefs don't influence his filmmaking. Obviously, his values (for animal life) influence the way he makes movies (he kills animals for them). How can that not affect somebody, if he or she values animal life differently (better, I daresay)?
