A Snowy UK

OMG I love SNOW!! LOL i was meant to have my human biology higher prelim today but it got postponed because the school is shut 😀

Now to go out and build a snowman 😀 and...also pray that it snows more so the school is shut tomorrow and i don't have to go in to do that one either 😀
 
Man the snow here is CRAZY, I've never driven in snow and wow it makes me see snow in a whole new light! I live on stupid back roads, slidey fun!
 
I have been locked all day in with 2 under 5's, as nursery and school are closed. The dogs have been churning up the snow into brown sludge in the garden, and I still need to sort dinner. I may be about to implode.

They say you should always check on your neighbours in the really cold snowy weather. But you know what? my 87 year old next door neighbour has never come round to check if i'm alright. Come to think of it, the dozy old bat hasn't collected her milk in over 2 weeks!
 
It's been slowly snowing all day, and it looks so pretty outside now. 😀

Well I'm going to hazard a guess that snow tires are not widely used. So if you have to drive stay away from the tracks made by other cars, it's not as safe as one would think. Driving in fresh snow gives better traction. Even two tires close to the shoulder will give you better traction then driving in the slippery tracks. And it goes without saying drive slower and you will be ok.
Just some friendly Canadian advice.
 
I hate snow,just when my neighbor and my dad had cleared our track so we could walk down it it goes and snows again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If i have to walk 1mile to get home again i'm going to scream or just give up and lie in the snow and freeze to death. Ok maybe that was alittle extreem,but i'm annoyed.

I willingly went for a walk in the snow yesterday...I kinda love it. It's all cold and white and stuff. What can I say? I'm easily amused, lol.
 
Right, I think it's official. I need to move somewhere where it snows.
Or global warming can give this heat wave over to you UKers and we'll take the snowing cold snap!

Aww, i tried to build a snowman like 10 mins ago but the snow is too soft! I mean there is soo much of it, it's the most i can remember in quite a long time AND there's meant to be more of it coming!! Totally gutted though cuz i got my guy up to about knee height but when i tried to make him taller her got shorter cuz more snow just sort of rolled off!!! lol!! So i just kicked him...he's kind of all over my garden now...muahahaha!! lol!!
