Hi there, i think this is the right thread to submit this.

I went into IRC to check it out but sadly i didn't see anyone other than buffybot and database.

I was thinking it'd be nice to be more active in chat by maybe creating like small contests or discussions at certain days and times in there since it's live it's faster than just posting and it's more interactive.

I see the forum is very active so I think that might work, but that's just an idea maybe someone can put a spin on it to make it a better idea 😛

We have tried to host events in the Chat before and they haven't always had the turnout we hoped for, but that certainly doesn't mean that Chat Events will never happen again. It's still a part of BB that a lot of folks like to use, and we're always looking for ways that we can put it to good use.

Thanks for the ideas all the same, it's good to know that you're interested in those kind of events. 🙂

The biggest problem is time zones for me. I have been around when events have been hosted in IRC but generally it works out to be roughly 3ish in the morning where I am. Stupid timezones.
