Have you ever noticed all those errors of continuity?

When the series began to air, it was noticed the feedback that they, the cast and crew were getting.
So in the beginning did Joss, in his wisdom, purposely create those errors of continuity? specifically so that the show could be talked about? If he did, what a resounding success.

The testament to Joss continues.

Wait, what? Is this supposed to be sarcastic, I don't get it...

Yeah, Joss had a few continuty errors, but honestly I doubt anyone really cares about them, what with the four amazing shows and all...

Yeah, I agree with Willow-Tree. I mean the reason we've noticed any errors in the first place is because of our urge to know the story in depth! I don't know if they are deliberate but you have to take into account the challenges of trying to keep his shows on the air and the sometimes abrupt changes imposed by the networks. It's inevitable that some details are missed out or slipped in that put the story out of whack!

I'm really confused.

The only reason we see these errors is because we study everything in the show so much. Non-whedonites won't notice them and we do because we study every aspect and hold discussions on it.

Plus you have to imagine how hard everyone was working to put the show together. I don't really get too upset about continuity errors... unless it's something extremely big/important/obvious. Same goes with any show. Like, if all the sudden LOST characters were talking about their cruise ship that crashed--that would be an issue. If all the sudden Angel was a slime demon with a soul...

Ha ha! Yeah! I mean I'd like to see any of us wrap up a series like Angel in less than half a season when the network just decides it wants to cut it right there and then.

So in the beginning did Joss..
In the Beginning, He created Continuity Error, but it was a vast and lifeless void. He then added Fanbois to keep Continuity Error company and find ways to validate His creation.
