Did anyone else feel bad for Wesley when his friends basically abandened him? I felt so sad for him, espically while he was in the hospital.

They saw him in the wrong, so they turned on him. I did feel for Wes, but he should of mentioned it to someone else before taking care of it alone, then the whole abadoning thing would of not happened.

I just feel bad about the whole thing. Like Fred, I also think Wes should have just said something. He had so much opportunity! It was sad when he had no one to pick him up at the hospital.

I felt bad for the poor bloke! Can't say I BLAMED Angel for hating him...but it was pretty sad...

Agree with you there. I felt sorry for Wesley, but I understand Angel's reaction.

Ana8, ive seen you say he deserved that before. Why do you think he deserved it? im just wondering, because personally i felt bad for him.

he was before that pompous..he never wanted any help from anyone when deciding what to do so it was his own fault...

I felt really bad for him,...I love Angel but I have to admit he acted like a jerk with Wesley,he was so cruel,he almost killed him!....isn't Angelus the cruel one?

I felt bad for Angel too...

Wesley thought he was doing the right thing,...everything is Sajhan(sp?)'s fault,..I hate that guy!

I know he shouldve told the others about what he found out but when they all abandoned him when he was in the hospital I just felt bad for him, thank god for Buffy backthen and all of their being friends.

Wesley's mistake (IMO) wasn't taking the baby, really. It was a breach of faith. He didn't have enough faith in Angel to keep investigating reasons why NOT to take the baby, which, as a friend, was a very strong duty as well.

So I can understand Angel being as angry as he was. These kinds of mistakes in life are very often never forgiven. And even when they are, it often takes years to get the trust back, usually longer than it took the first time. I think that Angel has made a real effort to forgive Wes, and gone beyond the call of HIS duty in that aspect.

I feel strongly that Wes should've told the gang and I can understand why they'd be so mad at him, so he kind of brought this on himself. At the same time, I feel so badly for him because his friends abandoned him and didn't give him time to explain... I completely agree with Khaych.

he probably should have told them, but he didn't. To him there was probably a good reason behind why he didn't tell them....he just thought it was best to do everything the way he did

I can get why... Maybe he thought that they would stop him from doing it if he told him. He just wanted to do what was right... He can't just tell Angel that he'll kidnap Angel's son and hand Connor over to the enemy... No, wait, he can. Still, he didn't want for Angel to kill Connor, so he thought he was protecting Connor.
