i was watching hell's kitchen when i saw this preview i actually screamed when David was shown and my brother was like oh my god its angel! and i had a total melt down and started crying because david had moved on...my family now thinks i am insane more so than before
Same here, only I didn't break down. I taped The Inside last week and it was on during one of the commercial breaks. I was like Oh my gosh!! and my mom gave me a look :look:

But I'm looking forward to the show 🙂 Not just because of David but I like those types of shows.

I want to see what he does with his character. If he's supposed to be like the Ryan character in the books, that'd be good...not just an empty suit there for decoration. My only beef is that they've taken it out of Montreal and set it in the States. Montreal locations in the books were like another character in the stories. They set the tones...it's a shame, but what can you do? It is Fox, after all...🙄

"I told him that he had the presence of those old-time male movie stars," Hanson says. "I get in trouble saying it but today, there are so many waifs and boys. I didn't care about that for this. Booth's a sniper; he's an FBI agent. He's lived the life. I want a man with some heft, and David has that."

"And David's not pretty. David's handsome. If you're going somewhere dangerous, you want David."

And as a bonus, both in life and on the screen, Boreanaz can be very funny.

"Very dry humor," Hanson says. "He can do things with a flick of his eyeballs. I think of him as one of those old-time movie stars, Gary Cooper, Steve McQueen. He's got shoulders a yard wide. He's a force in the room."

"Booth's very black and white," Boreanaz says. "He believes that all men are created equal. He's a public-school guy, doesn't believe in private school. He doesn't think people should be catered to. He goes with his gut. His instincts are 100 percent correct, or so he may think."

"”This does sound kinda interesting. So DB's character will be like a McQueen, Cooper, Eastwood type? A quiet man of action, not too much reflection. That's a change of pace from Angel of course. Angel had those moments but also so much self-loathing and self-doubting at times.

He'll be a down-to-earth badass skeptic I guess

Interesting, I'm taking it, it was someone on the production staff making those comments.

I heard some other good stuff from those guys - can't remember where. They were talking about how seeing as Bones is a Crime Procedural drama, there are going to be inevitable comparisons to CSI.

They were saying it will differ in that Bones will be more character driven, and the science of the forensics will be more in place with what's happening on a real day in a real lab.

Oh and KD, I agree. I also liked the Montreal setting in the Reichs book I read.

I can't wait to watch this show.I saw the previews and it looks very intresting.I don't usually watch shows like this but this one looks good.
