About episode names

Hmm, no not really, never really thought about it, but they could try a little harder though, the earlier title were a little more cryptic from time to time!
 
I don't know... Episodes like "Angel" and "Welcome to the Hellmouth" seem far less cryptic than say "Seeing Red" or something. They are all pretty self explanatory when you see the episode. I can't comment on season 7 though as I haven't see those episodes yet.

Gotta say ive never been one to really look at the names of episodes. But i do agree that did seem to put more though into some of the older ones however now i think they try to be a little to cryptic.
 
i think the cryptic titles passed to angel, because season 7 "help" "showtime" "potential" "him" "lessons" etc aren't really clever titles or anything, but on the other hand in angel's 4th season we have "supersymmetry" (amazing for the ep) "apocalypse, nowish", "habeas corpses" (it doesn't get any better than this )

"ground state", "deep down" "spin the bottle" are nice titles too. like buffy used to have
 
I think the title in BtVS have gotten simpler lately, but they're still creative. At least the show actually names their episode. I don't like shows that don't. *grumble* I also think that Angel's episode titles are really great this season.. though they're getting into the whole one-word title vibe too with 'Awakening' and 'Soulless'..
 
One word titles aren't bad, it depends on which word and which episode, "Judgement", "Epiphany" "Reunion" "Redefinition" "Reprise" are all amazing titles
