About the film Transformers

I remembered watching the film Transformers this morning,
thing is the base radio guy said about a helicopter heading to the air-base then requested said helicopter to go to US base Soccent.
Question: what area of the desert was it heading to? Was it named 'cos I can't remember that bit?

The base was in Qatar. Transformers is one of my favourite films. All hail Megatron! 😁
