I think I can explain how I came to the conclusion you were proposing the fang gang's memory was caused by a memory erase, and nothing else.

I sugggest that you read your posts again. You accused me of harboring a theory about the Fang Gang having alternate memories:

"I'm aware you don't like the alternate memory theory. You've said so repeatedly. I heard you. You're theory is the memories were wiped, and that's all that happened."

I never said anything about an alternate memory for the Fang Gang. I only stated that their memories of Connor had been erased.

Take it easy guys, we don't want another war.

N4H, I think LadyLavina means that she has no opinion on the subject to what the FanGangs current memories about Connor are.

You're right of course Ally, and a bigger man would do that. He would pretend he didn't read, what he knows he did read with his own eyes. He would move on in the name of diplomacy, even though it makes him look to be a fool who can't read simple English.

A bigger man would do that. Here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to continue to point out I posted:

Was it really just a memory erasing spell, or could it have been an alternate reality thing like what the monks did when they injected Dawn and all alternate memories of Dawn into Buffyverse reality..

to which the Lady replied

It was a memory erasing spell. The Fang Gang's memories have been erased. That's all.

Now to me that suggests the person posting is saying "The Fang Gang's memories have been erased. That's all". More specifically, she's suggesting very plainly nothing else is possible.

If that isn't exactly what she meant to say, the solution is simple. She should say, "Oops, sorry about that. That isn't exactly what I meant to say".

Telling me I'm annoying her by suggesting I didn't read what I know for a fact I did read is not a functional tactic.

It reminds me of this Jimmy Durante movie I saw one time where Jimmy owns a circus and the Sherrif comes to repossess Jumbo the elephant for unpaid debts Jimmy owes. Jimmy is standing in front of Jumbo. The Sherrif says "Hand over that elephant". Jimmy says "What elephant?"

Lady Lavina is saying to me, "What elephant?"

Why don't you try asking me what I think, instead of arrogantly assuming what is in my mind?

I meant that I know that the Fang Gang's memories of Connor have been erased. I also stated that I have no idea of any alternate memories they may have. My quote:

I never claimed that the memories of Connor have been replaced with alternate memories. I have no idea what the Fang Gang do remember. All I do know is that Wes, Lorne, Gunn and Fred have no memories of Connor.

sry if some one else brought this up, it's been a while since i read this thread but i had a new idea about the memories, at the end of season 4 the world(or al least LA) was in chaos and aware of the existance of magic/higher beings and now no one is. I think it's a good possibillity that he did a world wide mind wipe to stop everyone's pain and then added a few extra's to help Connor and his son find peace.

anyone else think this is a credible therory?
