At least Riley was smart enough to leave the decision up to Buffy, unlike some other Buffy ex who shall not be named.

Well yeah it is considering that Buffy hated Spike's guts when Riley left. If he felt any vamp was coming between him and Buffy then it was Angel...Spike wasn't anywhere near Buffy's radar when Riley left. And is everyone missing the fact that he is married? He got over her, he moved on. Not every man Buffy has been with stays hung up on her like Angel and Spike.

(And before you say anything about Spike's "hang up," you always believed that just because you're a poor misguided Bangel. You can't speak for Spuffy. So you are saying that Angel didn't love Buffy? or to be more exact that I..ME...KEAN...O...ILOVEBANGELFOEVER...ITE is saying that Angel only had a crush on Buffy for 7+ years? Sorry, Miss K, I never met your friend Krusty, so I can't comment on the size of his feet, but I'll bet he doesn'y have even a fraction of my wit, good looks, and charm.
